Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I recently relocated to TN from NYC. I grew up in Tennessee and
have the roman numerals at the end of my name to prove it. I love
to entertain, but don't do it enough. I believe that bacon is a
condiment and that a taste of whiskey now and again is good for the
constitution (my seventh grade field trip was to the Jack Daniels
I love to travel. A couple of years ago I spent two weeks with half
a million other folks at a temple festival in Tamil Nadu, South
India, a week in a villa in Tuscany with twenty friends, a couple
of weeks upstate in the middle of nowhere with yoga buds, and a
couple of weeks in TN (back when I was living in NYC) visiting the
family and feeding the cows (not even kidding...). I recently went
on a "business trip" to Costa Rica.
I am a Luddite who was most recently working on those dang
intrawebs and the irony is not lost on me. My current fantasy is
spending my workday in my paneled library, surrounded by my books,
writing with my fountain pen on a legal pad. Until then, I guess I
will stick with my MacBook.
I am currently shaking up just about everything about my life.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
“For me, I am driven by two main philosophies: know more today
about the world than I knew yesterday and lessen the suffering of
others. You'd be surprised how far that gets you.”
― Neil deGrasse Tyson

I recently met a friend at a bar in Hell's Kitchen. The
twenty-something door-twink asked to see my ID. I took it from my
wallet and handed it to him. He stared down at my ID and then
looked back up at me, back down to the ID, and then back up at me.
"You look good," he remarked, "I mean, really good." Whether or not
he internally added the "for your age" that his drama implied, I am
told it is pretty much true.
