My life is singularly unique for various reasons. I have never been on a commercial airplane. I have goretex abdomen muscles. I've had heart surgery, but you'd never be able to find the scar. I've never gotten black out drunk. I have more shoes than I know what to do with and more books than I'm able to shelve. I have five miniature poodles. I've never been on a vacation. I hate capital letters, mayonaise, and dirty snow. I love history, pickles, and lightning.
I'm hand sewing a quilt to silently protest how much technology has taken over our lives (or maybe because I still haven't learned how to re-thread the bobbin on my sewing machine). I've started taking pole dancing lessons to vary my work out and balance my extracurriculars. I can't sleep with socks on and I think coleslaw and marriage are dying institutions. I don't like chocolate unless its paired with peanut butter and I absolutely don't eat seafood. I am intolerant of intolerance, but I cannot tolerate voluntary obesity and voluntary stupidity.
I enjoy reading, snowboarding, hiking, hanging out at the beach, quilting, cooking, baking, going shopping, hanging out with my dogs, grilling with friends, hot tubbing, watching movies, staying in bed all day with someone i like and cuddling and wrestling and sleeping and eating and watching movies with them, going to water parks and amusement parks, going to the ocean, exploring caves....
Update: I just took my first commercial flight (to Chicago); it was fine. And, I just booked my first vacation: two weeks in Jamaica in July!
