Not much to say about myself. I recently got divorced due to
differences between my wife and myself. I am an avid gamer. I play
a few
MMOs, including
World of
Warcraft,
Final Fantasy XI, and others.
I also play numerous other PC and console
games. I'm a techno-geek, always looking
out for new technology, and a huge
Star Wars fan.
I am a huge
computer geek, better with hardware
than software, but I can do a bit of the software side. PCs rock,
except for Dell, eMachines, and Gateway. I prefer home builds of
PCs, but if I'm going to buy a factory-made, it's gonna be an HP. I
am currently waiting for Google to a) make a search engine that
really reads my mind, I don't have to type anything in b) said
search engine to gain AI and become self-aware and omniscient, and
c) newly aware search engine becomes Skynet and we all get wiped
out.
I like
sci-fi,
especially
80s
sci-fi. It just looks so much better with real sets.
Ghostbusters,
The Last
Starfighter (which admittedly had CGI, although really really
bad) and the
Back to the Future Trilogy
are some of the greatest movies. ever. Besides Star Wars that
is.
Stupidity turns me off. Big time. I admit that I can have my
moments, but I like to have an intelligent conversation. In fact,
intelligent conversation is a big bonus.
Music is my life. I grew up playing piano, and graduated to
synthesizer. I live and breathe music. I can sing too, sometimes,
usually when nobody else is around. I listen mainly to
heavy metal,
industrial,
darkwave,
techno-industrial,
grindcore,
synthpop,
techno,
trance,
synth, and
EBM. If you don't know what those are, don't
ask, it's too hard to explain. I also listen to every other genre
of music, except rap. Rap sucks. And no, I don't care if you think
it doesn't. It's my opinion, and to me, that's all that matters, at
least on that subject. I love going to concerts that showcase local
bands. Local bands are usually more talented than the big-name
bands, since the big name bands have all sold out, to a certain
degree.
I'm also a big fan of
anime, and will watch pretty much any
anime, at least the first episode, to see if I like it or not. If I
do, I'm hooked, if I don't, I may still watch it when I'm
bored.
I'm usually very quiet, until you get to know me, then I'll talk
your ear off. I don't have very many friends, but those I do, I
cherish. My friends are my life, and I would do anything for
them.
My relationship history isn't a good one. I've had multiple ex's
who treated me badly, which is why I'm not with them anymore. My
number one rule of any relationship I'm in: Tell me everything. If
something happens, I want to know. I have to be able to trust the
person I'm with. I've been hurt too many times in the past, and I
don't want it to happen again. I may not say anything when you tell
me, but that's because I have to figure out what to say. I will say
something later though.
I'm manic, which means that I'm a different person from one day to
the next. One day I can be happy-go-lucky, the next sullen and
withdrawn. It's not something I can control, nor do I want to. It's
me, and I like me for who I am. If you can't deal with that, then
leave me alone.
Anyways, that's enough about me, for now anyways. if I think of
something else, I'll put it in here.
I work as an Internet Technical Support Representative for Comcast
Cable, and I will be going back to school for IT Systems.
I'm good at playing video games. No, I'm joking. Kind of. I'm good
at piano, and at swordfighting and martial arts. I'm also really
good with computers, mostly the hardware aspect of it. I'm also
good at cooking, and love adding my own twist to dishes. There are
a few other things that I'm good at, but you'll have to message me
to find out what they are.
People don't usually notice me, unless I want to be noticed. I
blend into the background very well.
What my future will hold, and what I want from life.
At home, in front of a computer. I don't really get out much, but I
do when I feel like it. It all depends on my mood, and whether or
not there's a show going on that I'd like to catch.
