My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
So I am originally from Baton Rouge, LA. I just moved to Seattle to take a job at UW. It is equal parts Exciting and Horrifying I know no one up in Seattle and I am leaving my entire life behind to take this opportunity. First things first...Where can I play board games? Next thing where is the best place to get a beer (preferably with a lot of craft beers on draft). Lastly what do the locals do for fun?

Now for a little about myself...I am a Nerd and a Gamer cue the groans, gasps and whatever else kind of drama....Oh are you still with me? Neat. Like I said I am a nerd. What this means is I like things and I like them hard. Take Beer for example I love trying new beers and finding crazy weird ones that happen to be great. I love Star Wars and while I admit that the Prequel trilogy was shit it still has a soft spot in my heart because I was kid when I saw them. I am also a gamer. It is my number one hobby. Some people build things with wood, collect something, or simply watch tv I choose to solve puzzles. Now that is not limited to just Video games, I also love Board Games of which me and my friends play a wide variety and role-playing stuff like D&D (That's Dungeons and Dragons, though I have to assume if you got this far you probably knew that already). If you want to play some games together hit me up I will gladly play anything.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I have recently accepted a new position at the University of Washington which is having me move to Seattle, a place which I know no one and have only vacationed once in (BTW PAX Prime 2013 was amazing). I am taking this opportunity to reinvent myself in some ways. Get Healthy, Enjoy the outdoors, take up other hobbies who knows.

So with that all I am looking to discover Seattle and the surrounding area and hopefully fall in love with in reality as much as I have been in my fantasies.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
To be honest I am really good at my job. Databases just come so naturally to me maybe because I think in a different way I do not know.

I am also good at attempting new recipes which has been a blessing while working on my diet.....though the important things should be hard
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Well to be honest as my roommate has told me I would make a great bear (see me for more details). I am tall(ish). I am normally sporting some rugged beard of varying length during the year. I have also been told that people really notice my Blue eyes.
