My brain is a sponge for random information. I always forget to take vacations. I can drive stick, but don't own a car.

Two countries on my bucket list are Australia and Japan. I'd like to see the wilderness of Australia and the cities of Japan. Something else I'd like to try is putting all the states I haven't visited into a hat, drawing one at random and then planning a trip there.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
My primary goal in life is educating people on the dangers of Dihydrogen Monoxide.

When I'm not doing that, I work as a web developer. Shocking, I know. A computer programmer in the Bay Area. When I'm not working, I enjoy singing opera. Once upon a time, it was my career goal, but it wasn't a good fit for me. In order for music to be enjoyable, I need to do it on my terms. It's just as important for me to be able to sing when I want to as it is to not sing when I don't. If that makes sense.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
* Picking out oranges at the grocery store
* Singing
* Juggling
* Clicking my heels like a Leprechaun
* Making friends with the neighbors' cats
* Folding fitted sheets

I play the ocarina, but I don't know that I'd qualify as "really good."
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I think I get the most comments about either my eyes or my laugh. One of my former coworkers said I have a a "Kung-fu Villain Laugh".
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Food: Gummy bears are a huge weakness. Please keep them away from me. Noodles of all kinds are delicious.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Corrective lenses, my bicycle, capsaicin, xkcd, peanut butter (the real kind), beer.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Whatever hobby has most recently piqued my interest. Some of my past hobbies have been juggling, unicycling, pickling, home brewing and origami. When I do pick up a hobby, I tend to have a very singular focus, where I will learn anything and everything I can. Eventually, that will run its course, and I will just stop, then at some point I find something else that interests me and the cycle starts over.

I've been diving back into singing after a few months away. I just found a great book of songs written for voice and lute by John Dowland. Drop me a line if you know a good lutenist.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I own a Slanket. Don't judge. It's amazing.

I've decided I'm a big fan of bow ties and suspenders. On one level this is entirely practical, but I would be lying if I didn't admit to it also satisfying my inner hipster.
