My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a former police officer from New Orleans, turned truck driver and truth seeker.

I'm pretty random at times, enjoy people with a strange sense of humor, an adventurous spirit, and try to surround myself with intelligent people.

I tend to gravitate towards those with piercings, tattoos, or an eclectic personality and I start talking to complete strangers everywhere I go.

I tend to stay up late at night. Very late. And that has little to do with my appreciation for coffee.

I like people who are ambitious, creative, and think about the bigger picture. It brings out the best in people in order to encourage and motivate each other with new ideas. I love art, music, philosophy, geopolitics, business ideas, trying new things, photography, and writing.

I'm rather opinionated but looove to engage in conversation, debate, and discourse. I will listen to anyone because I've realized how much I learn from them, even those I disagree with.

I really don't think self-written, random excerpts would ever adequately describe my true, quirky personality.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
After leaving the police force, I shifted into the private sector with oil and gas executive security and corporate investigations. I grew tired of the similar police lifestyle after a few years and moved on. It took a few months to decide what career to tackle, and I thought obtaining a Commercial Driver's License might offer some adventure. After driving an 18-wheeler across the nation for almost a year, I settled back in Oklahoma and currently run hotshot oilfield delivery.

I'm also looking into obtaining my pilot's license, which is my next big step.

I run a rather popular website, which keeps me busy. It's sort of what shaped my decision to leave the police force and re-examine law enforcement and the war on drugs as a whole.

I went from being a straight-laced, conservative cop (another cog in the machine) to a Libertarian with very socially-liberal ideas. I don't care what people do in their private lives, I just want to be left alone in order to live mine as I see fit.

Nowadays, I can be found enjoying a slower pace of life most of the time, working on my acreage and shipping container project, good ole' Netflix, or taking trips to random locales. Sometimes I just go to the airport and pick a flight. It's landed me in several unusual cities, but one of my favorites has got to be Las Vegas; amazing people, spectacular times, and a never-ending nightlife.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
...having patience, debate, opening people up to new ideas, drawing, humor, video games, leading groups, getting into trouble, creating websites, shooting handguns, drinking... I dunno, this is a rather open-ended, cliche question.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Most would probably say my blue eyes, although they are turning grey. :-/
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
-Books: Lost Souls by Poppy Z Brite, End the Fed by Ron Paul, Patriots by James Rawles, Dr. Mary's Monkey and quite a few others. The Road is good, as well. Currently reading, 'The Trillion Dollar Conspiracy' by Jim Marrs, along with several books revolving around the Ego and meditation. I enjoy keeping a large library that includes a bit of everything, including lots of text books, the classics, non/fiction, etc.

-Movies: The Crow, 28 Days Later, Interview with the Vampire (yes, I still love it.), V for Vendetta, The Postman, random zombie flicks, The Fountain, political/Big Pharma/food industry documentaries, cerebral movies that make you think. I'll watch just about anything but certainly have my favorite genres.

-TV: I don't really watch TV anymore, in the traditional sense. Netflix and similar channels would probably say my favorites are: LOST, Game of Thrones, The Shield, Jericho, DollHouse, Flash Forward, Walking Dead, FireFly, Orange is the New Black, Fringe... few others.

-Music... Hmmm. Everything. Extremely varied. House, 90's, techno, classical, piano pieces, rock, you name it. My favorite music to listen to at home would anything that has a bass beat and a dark, sultry female voice, such as Blackmill, Nero, Portishead, FC Kahuna, Emiliana Torrini, Tori Amos, Mazzy Star, etc.

-As for food, I loooove to cook. Mediterranean, Italian, and Cajun are my favorites. While I'm not a total food snob, I try to avoid GMOs, chemicals, and the like.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
The internet.
My Glock.
Wine.
My friends.
Adventure.
Love & affection.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Conspiracy theories, politics, zombie hordes, the Federal Reserve, Big Pharma and GMOs, 9/11, where I'd like to go next, quantum physics, what's happening in the world, how I can eat healthier, traveling, my friends, what city I might end up in, and what's for dinner... What a strange question.

I suppose I spend a lot of time on self reflection.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Either out with friends, my acreage, being lazy at home, or working. That's about it. I love adventure but I like my quiet moments just as much.

I also go camping a lot. I looove to be in the middle of nowhere with a nice campfire and a few friends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I've come to realize over the last few years that I am not as happy with who I am as I used to be, and I'm working to change that.

** Nowadays, I'm just looking for friends. I have found the love of my life and we've been married for almost two years. We have an amazing relationship and she is my best friend. But that shouldn't stop you from messaging! We're a pretty open couple that sometimes blur the line between swinger and poly. She's always open to a sexy female partner for a meaningful relationship or just fun nights.
We're both always looking for new friends and people to hang out with - dinner, work out partners, camping trips, drinks, whatever. Making new friends is what life is all about and if you do, you might just have gained yourself someone that can get you through the zombie apocalypse unscathed!
The wife is very funny and witty, sharp-tongued, flirty, and into astrology, fitness, art, and traveling.
