My self-summary
Raised by wolves in the forests of Albania, moved to the city when I was a just a pup. Learned English and how to snowboard. Was kidnapped at 18 and forced into slavery in Greeley, CO.

So ACTUALLY, I was raised in New Mexico. You know, the newer Mexico that is actually one of the 48 contiguous American states? Yeah, that one. If you didn't know that was a state, feel free to move along (unless you're from another country... I suppose that is acceptable)...

I am a ridiculous goofball and really enjoy sarcasm. Learned it from my Italian nanny as a child so it's actually by first language - even have it on my resume. I'm prone to episodes of song and dance, mostly songs that I make up about everything around me. Can and will make fun of everything - including myself and most likely you.

Skilled in advanced wizardry and necromancy, master of HTML coding, and (secretly) the last of the time lords. I make a point to go to the Renaissance Festival every year like a nerd and seriously need to go to ComicCon this year so that my head doesn't explode from sadness.

Quoter of ALL the movies, trier of ALL the things! I would say I love to travel, but really I just like being other places in the world. The traveling part sucks.

On a more serious note, I'm very independent - politically, intellectually, financially, and professionally. Some may say I've got my shit together.
What I’m doing with my life
Profession: Anonymous peon.

Just kidding. Sort of... I work at UNC and like my job, but it's not my end-all, be-all. Future career goals include backup dancer, race car driver, river raft guide, and theoretical astrophysicist.

I'm currently working full time and getting masters in communication, which is quite ironic since I'm literally the worst at explaining things and getting point across... some call that communicating.

Not gonna lie, I don't exactly know what I want to do when I grow up, but who does? In the meantime I have a pretty good job and am enjoying life. I'm always trying to learn new things - mostly from the interwebs - like how to fold fitted bed sheets and how to dubstep. You know, important life skills.
I’m really good at
Jigsaw puzzles.
Movies quotes.
Dancing.
I'm pretty good at singing...
All useless things. But I can fix my toilet and change my car headlights.
The first things people usually notice about me
Big blue eyes and give-no-fucks attitude.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Dan Brown, Michael Crichton, anything murder, mystery or scifi. I also read stupid teen dystopia books... I know, I know. On my list to read are Game of Thrones, Palanhuik and Gaimen books. I generally stick to fiction and I literally (get it?) have hundreds of books on my shelves to read. I tend to buy them a lot faster than I read them.

Movies: My favorite movie is Supertroopers, which really speaks to my sense of humor. Dodgeball, Europtrip, Matrix, LOTR, any comic book movies.. I'm always down for seeing a movie no matter what it is, but I generally don't like horror or chick flicks.

Shows: I love TV and am a binge watcher. Community, Arrested Development, Parks and Rec, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, West Wing, Lost Girl, Firefly, X-Files, Sherlock, Revenge, Scandal, True Blood, Game of Thrones, The Following... so many more. Damn you, Netflix!

Music: It's so cliché, but I really like all music EXCEPT country and jazz (sometimes I like jazz). All music has it's place and time. I like pop, hip hop, rap, new age, but I mostly listen to alternative rock/indie. Love 93.3 :) I'm a huge concert-goer.

Food: I'm not a huge meat eater, but I love food and trying new food. I really like sushi and curry, but I'm not saying I wouldn't eat mac and cheese pizza if it was available...
The six things I could never do without
My friends
My family
My dog
My tech (phone, tv, computer)
Chocolate
Movies
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Space. The future. Culture and politics. But the universe... seriously.
On a typical Friday night I am
Out at the local pub with friends. Sometimes a great Friday night is sitting on my ass in front of the TV with my dog.
You should message me if
You are down to get a marg at the Rio or a beer at a pub.
You aren't a total douche canoe.
You can let your geek out of the closet. (Metaphorically, of course. If you actually have a geek in your closet, you're probably a psychopath and I'd prefer if you didn't message me.)
