My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm simple for the most part, mostly old-fashioned. Im an artist and am a fairly passionate person. I hold much value in communication and trust. I love conversation. I'm sensitive but not soft. I have strong opinions. I have morals, standards and values. I've been told so many times that I am different from most men that I have to believe it. I know I'm not generic. I know I have a lot to give and that I have my good and my bad. But above all, I think I'm a decent human being deserving of a decent female to spend my time with.

I'm mostly very confident- It doesn't always show, but it's there. In some respects i am not so confident. I can be crazy sometimes- I have an artist’s mind- I am somewhat socially awkward and reserved. I'm nit-picky and critical about certain things. I am a perfectionist, but I know when to let things be. I am easily frustrated on the right days, can get a temper and can be as stubborn as they come. I usually admit when I'm wrong. I have incredible patience for meticulous tasks, but terrible impatience waiting on things. I like working on/fixing all my own stuff and I enjoy spending time in the kitchen though I need to do it more. I have a lot of random knowledge- I've taught myself a lot of what I know and I am not afraid to jump right into something new. I enjoy the outdoors- hiking, photographing nature and drawing, rockhounding, prospecting and studying local Geology. I have a lot of varying hobbies/interests but they don't get as much time as the one I'm trying to turn into a career- But they do influence and contribute to who I am an what I do. . I'm into music- I can't live without my music. I can't live without art, either. I am a natural artist- I have some training, but I know I am truly blessed with many talents. I like a lot of "old" stuff- Music, TV, movies, styles, cars, etc... and a lot of people think it's because I grew up listening to or watching it or around it- I didn't. I befriend cats with ease, I write, I enjoy whiskey and craft-beer. I like baseball, traditional hot rods and vintage bicycles. I have a weakness for old Mustangs and long drives. I also enjoy cold weather and clouds.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I am a self- taught, professional lapidary artist and independent jewelry artist and I love what i do. I'm also working a normal job part-time. I have credentials from GIA, eventually to get a Graduate Gemologist diploma. I also do handy-man work on the side and any other random work I happen to stumble upon. Things I'm working towards: I need to concentrate on school again and finish up my associates or go for a degree in Geology. I need to work towards living a healthier lifestyle. I need to get back to my painting and other artwork. I've realized I'm not getting any younger and things have to change because I've already wasted too much time. I just want to become a better person and spend my life doing the things I love and I will do what I have to do to accomplish that.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I'm really good with my hands and very resourceful. I'm good at teaching myself things and figuring out how things work. I'm a good talker, good listener. I love teaching people about my interests. I can cook- I rarely use recipes because I just experiment and it usually turns out pretty good!
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My green eyes usually. Or, that I'm really quiet and reserved until I get going then there is no shutting me up.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Movies: Anything about history, historic people or events, Science: astronomy, physics, geology, etc.. Steve McQueen movies are good. I like some newer stuff, but not enough to really write about it.

I don't have cable TV, but if I did it'd probably be on one of two stations- MLB and Science Channel. I watch mostly PBS and old shows like The Rebel, Gunsmoke and Bonanza. I also love The Twilight Zone, Outer Limits and Master Chef. But I don't watch a ton of TV.

Music: I'm BIG into Nick Cave and his work, but my musical interests are wide. Some newer stuff, a lot of older stuff. Surf, rockabilly, some country, Apocalyptica, Rammstein, Tom Waits, Tom Petty, Pearl Jam, Neil Young, Mark Lanegan, Joan Baez, Hendrix, The Band, Joplin, Norah Jones, Joe Bonamassa, classical, instrumental, blues and jazz... Too much to list really. I just like real, actual, GOOD music, and I am like a kid in a candy store when I find hidden gems of songs/artists I never new existed. No Emo, rap, lame-o pop or hipster junk. Yes, yes I know "good" is subjective, but....

Books: Art, firearms, history, gemstones, jewelry, geology, gemology... They all make good books. I enjoy a good fiction every once in a while too.

Food: I am in love with Mexican food. I cook it fairly well, too. But I just enjoy good food, all around. Hardly any fish though, definitely no sushi..
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My family, my passion, my cats, my hands, my music, my creativity.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I think about a lot.... New projects, current projects, new ideas, the future, how to improve myself...
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Listening to music, driving, working on a project, trying to find something to do to get out of the house, at a carshow, at the pool hall, friend's house.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
As bad as it sounds: I really don't like people... At all. We all know it, we all wanna say it, but we put up with all the dummies because there are some good ones sprinkled in there too.

...if you want a real person and normal, good, old-fashioned kind of guy who is definitely not like all the rest of em.

Oh... If you can't message me with something more intellectually stimulating than "Hi", don't bother. Please.
