So, my story is this: I'm from California, graduated high school in 2004 and then did two years at the local community college there to acquire my AA degree. Four days later, I was given the opportunity to have the Navy pay for my training in Nuclear Engineering, so I took it. I've now been in the Navy for about 3 years, and mid 2010 I'm scheduled to be stationed in San Diego, CA. Make no mistake though: I consider the military my job and NOT my life.

As far as interests go: I like to have fun. General statement sure, but also very true. Spontaneity, I think, is one of the great things about being human. I love to write, and have been working on a novel for going on three years now (And I'll finish the damn thing some day!). I love trying new things I never have, and meeting new people. I love video games, movies, and generally anything that is entertaining and wastes time. As far as TV shows go, I love LOST, Heroes, House, Chuck, and Burn Notice.

Currently in the Navy (As previously stated). I plan to finish my enlistment and pursue a Master's Degree when I get out (I'm getting my BA on the Navy's dime, for sure).

I like the field I currently work in, as it tends to challenge me. I may stay associated with it in the civilian side of things, who knows.

But finishing my master's degree is a definite priority.

Writing, laughing, and reading people. I'm also very goofy (If you haven't figured that out yet).

Probably my eyes.

Books...Hard to name a favorite, but I'm a pretty big fan of A Brave New World, Fahrenheit 451, and believe it or not, Treasure Island.

Music...Alt. Rock seems to be my primary, but I'll listen to anything from Mozart to T-Pain.

My future. Even though it's fairly pathed out, I always like to think about where I'll be in five years from now.

Cliched? Probably, but it's true. I also think a lot about random things I may see or hear...I daydream a lot.

Probably working. That happens a lot.

I like using parentheses a lot.
