My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
*** NOTE: I'm on hold from dating for a while as I am moving from SE Michigan to Philadelphia in May to start a new job. Best wishes to all as a new chapter begins. :-) ***

If you're looking for someone who's sincere, expressive, affectionate and funny, I think I know somebody. ...c'est moi!

I'm planning a heist and it's better than robbing a bank... I'm stealing the sights, sounds, smells and splendor of Michigan's diverse seasons and I need an accomplice. Our crime spree cuts a wide swath through southeast Michigan and perhaps beyond, fueled by spontaneity and squandering of our spoils.

We're on the run from authorities so we need to keep moving! Day trips and secluded kayak excursions to avoid capture, blending in with townsfolk on bicycles and at art fairs, and losing our trail by ducking into music venues, posing inconspicuously for photos with animals at the zoo, losing our pursuers in the crowd at A2's Farmers Market and assorted dining, frolicking and cavorting activities, like washing your dog. I'm preparing to take dance lessons, because classy mobsters do that sort of thing.

I moved back to Michigan in 2009 after being away 40 years. It's so beautiful here! I pass four lakes to get to the grocery store and it always makes me smile.

Kayaking was almost an accidental discovery and it's a favorite hobby during the summer. In 2013, I challenged myself to paddle 100 miles in two weeks on 30 lakes in Oakland Co. It was a fun goal to achieve.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm in a growth mode of mind, body and spirit. Nothing crazy, just trying to improve myself. I'm looking for new experiences. I don't have any baggage except for taking trips.

My ideal match is romantic and playful, active, has a great sense of humor, an open mind, is supportive and can communucate well. You may feel as though these are our best years. You'd be of the mindset that anything worth achieving is worth working for, and that includes building a great relationship. It doesn't matter whether it's with me so much as it is that you believe that in general!

In a relationship, I'll be interested in you, supportive and true to my word. You'll have my respect for your intelligence, opinions and needs. I firmly believe in equality between sexes, but I will still be a gentleman through and through.

I try to stay in shape... I swim a mile three times a week or so.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Creating enthusiasm that is contagious and gets others excited about what they are going to do.

Sensing the feelings of other people by imagining myself in their lives or situations.

Having faith in the links between all things; that there are few coincidences and that almost every event has a reason.

Communicating, writing humor, playing music, cooking, kayaking, cuddling and kissing...
The first things people usually notice about me

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Whether or not there really is someone out there who's ready for their next, best, and last love. It takes work to build a relationship: trust, acceptance and mutual respect to make that happen. I'm up to the challenge.
On a typical Friday night I am
