If you're looking for someone who's sincere, expressive, affectionate and funny, I think I know somebody. ...c'est moi!
I'm planning a heist and it's better than robbing a bank... I'm stealing the sights, sounds, smells and splendor of Michigan's...... oops, now Pennsylvania's! diverse seasons and I need an accomplice. Our crime spree cuts a wide swath through southeast Michigan...... oops, now Center City, the Mid-Atlantic, and perhaps beyond, fueled by spontaneity and squandering of our spoils.
We're on the run from authorities so we need to keep moving! Day trips and secluded kayak excursions to avoid capture, blending in with townsfolk at art fairs and festivals, and losing our trail by ducking into intimate music clubs, losing our pursuers in crowds at Ann Arbor's Farmers Market [oops... help me out here...] ...and assorted dining, frolicking and cavorting activities, like washing your dog. I'd like to take dance lessons sometime, because classy mobsters do that sort of thing (even though I'm chicken to start).
I moved back to Michigan in 2009 after being away 40 years. It's so beautiful there! I passed four lakes to get to the grocery store and it always made me smile. Then relocated to PA for a new job in Center City.
Kayaking was an accidental discovery and became my favorite hobby during the summers. I couldn't bring my 14-ft. Hurricane Tampico with me. :-(
In 2013, I challenged myself to paddle 100 miles in two weeks on 30 lakes in SE Michigan. Final summer tally was 500 miles of paddling. It was a fun goal to achieve.
