My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Guys post or send pictures of their "junk" and/or themselves shirtless in a bathroom mirror because their pictures reflect what THEY want to see, not what YOU want to see. They want to see your genitals. They want to see you topless in a bathroom mirror.

Okay, on to my profile....

Some people wonder if I spend a fortune getting my hair colored one hair at a time to create this amazing mostly-salt-and-a-bit-of-pepper effect. It's natural. Try to not be jealous.

I can out-chopstick Asians...and not just people from parts of Asia that don't use chopsticks. I have been asked in all seriousness if I'm Asian. I'm not. I am, however, half Peruvian, which is probably fairly obvious. ;)

I can stop your sneezes in their tracks, if you want. It's a useful talent to have at when you're in the middle of getting your eyes lasered.

Unlike most guys, I'm not "just as comfortable in a suit as in jeans." I'll take the jeans any damn day. Am I any lower-maintenance because I no longer wear clothes that need to be dry cleaned?

I serve right-handed when playing volleyball and left-handed when playing tennis, but I'm not ambidextrous. I'm cross-dominant, and it's as sexy as it sounds.

For those impressed by education, my background is a mixed bag. My "Ph.D program" level of education is actually an LL.M. -- a Master of Laws degree in Taxation. That said, I do not practice law and don't date those who do.

I'm optimistic that my friends would say I have the traits I'm looking for: Honesty, level-headedness (<--not sure that's a word), and solvency. Kindness is more important than intelligence. Strong organizational skills would be a really nice complement to my lack thereof. Just sayin'.

"Chemistry" is one of those things that's difficult to define but you know it when you feel it, but that's what I'm after...chemistry of some sort or every sort. I'm not looking for perfection...just the kind of "click" that makes being together easy.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm managing trusts, writing, playing tennis, and looking for a girl who is honest, has something to say, and has her act somewhat together (nobody has their act all the way together, though some people fake it better than others).
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
...asking questions and listening to answers. I'm also good at fixing things.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Some days people look at me and smile without my having done anything to provoke it. Maybe I exude joy. :)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Favorite book (there can be only one "favorite")...Lolita, by Vladimir Nabokov. Forget the sordid's the most brilliant bit of writing I've run across.

Favorite movie...The Princess Bride, if only for the immanently quotable dialog. "Have you ever heard of Plato? Aristotle? Socrates? Morons!"

Favorite show...Broadway: Avenue Q (though I bet it'll be The Book of Mormon once I see it!). I can't really speak to television shows because I haven't owned a TV in a long time. (And no, I don't think I'm better than Thou for it...I just don't have one.)

Favorite music...Jangly guitar rock (e.g., Dave Matthews-ish) Bonus points if you've heard of Poi Dog Pondering, Lloyd Cole, Roddy Frame, or Jill Knight.

Favorite food...Indian, for now, but I'm not a picky eater.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Well, there are the obvious things...water, air, shelter, nourishment, light, love, and my pancreas. And then there are more light-hearted things, like 1) floss, 2) the internet, 3) soap, 4) Asics shoes, 5) my lighted computer keyboard, 6) you.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How I've managed to remain single and childless this late into my life, particularly since I've wanted a family since I was 30. Twice I've been told that I would be a good dad. It's flattering and a little heartbreaking.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
...doing something. What, I couldn't tell you, as my Friday nights have not yet fallen victim to routine. I'm probably not napping, of that much I'm pretty certain.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm fairly polite and easy-going, which sometimes gets mistaken for me being submissive or otherwise a pushover.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over. are honest, fun, nice, smart (in some way...doesn't mean book smart, necessarily), kind, and cute. Being frisky doesn't hurt. :)
