My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm intelligent articulate, educated and very well read,

I majored in English in university with a focus on poetry and literary analysis and have English major’s sense of humor and wit. I like quotes, double meanings, puns, irony and sarcasm; this makes my sense of humor very quirky, and often downright bent.

I am honest (often to a fault), but try to temper my honesty with diplomacy and discretion.

My personality is gregarious, outgoing, laid back, and very liberal (Not in the political sense, but gay marriage, prison reform, wind power generation, socialized medicine, decriminalization of soft drugs, etc, are all fine by me).

It’s one of my core beliefs to not take life or myself too seriously, I like to laugh and it pleases me when my humor puts people at ease and makes them laugh.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.

Over the last few years my taste in books tends toward nonfiction as its a philosophy of mine to attempt to learn something new every day. My interests span the whole spectrum, Art, Film, Human nature, Architecture, Physics, Chemistry and Cooking, for the sake of brevity I've severely abbreviated the list.

My literary guilty pleasure is Zombie fiction. I find no greater amusement than escaping into a post-apocalyptic world filled with the walking undead.

T.S. Elliot
ee cummings
Rudyard Kipling

Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead, The Big Bang Theory, New Girl and Miranda are about the only sit-coms I can stand, Nova, Fifth Estate, Rick Mercer

The Big Lebowski, O Brother Where Art Thou, Starship Troopers, The Green Zone, Things to Do in Denver When You're Dead, Wonder Boys and Aliens Just to name a few.

Documentaries, indie, art and foreign films are all part of my viewing repertoire. I keep watching Hollywood blockbusters and coming away utterly disappointed, for some reason I never learn.

Dim Sum, Sushi and Japanese cuisine in general, Cilantro, Limes, Olives, Wine, moderately spicy foods, Indian, Mexican, big pieces of meat cooked over an open flame, Cheese, Apples, Mushrooms, Garlic, Sour cream, Pasta and so much more.

I am a foodie, and a true omnivore, some people eat solely to live, I live to eat. There are few art forms that stimulate all senses simultaneously and good food does just that. I'm a relatively competent cook, no cordon bleu chef by any stretch, but I try, and I dream. The whole process of food production from field to plate interests me greatly and I involve my self as much as possible, I have a garden and grow my own vegetables, make wine, keep bees and make my own maple syrup. I've also researched cheese making and meat curing and some day when I have the time and space I'd like to try my hand at these ancient arts as well. My only failing in this is that I don't enjoy baking.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
A varied diet
Polysporin & Bandaids
Parmesan Cheese
Bicycles, especially broken ones
Pen & Paper
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What preparations are needed to survive and thrive during a zombie apocalypse,
What to add to powdered water,
Artificial banana flavor,
Food, in all its glorious varieties,
Whether Adam and Eve had navels
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Wondering what night of the week it is
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

There is much about me that I don't broadcast to the world (for one thing I can't imagine why anybody would be interested), but I have few secrets, and none that I can think of off the top of my head. If you have the guts to ask it, I should have the guts to answer and to answer honestly.
