Moving...

So yeah, I'm moving into a new apartment. Its going to be pretty darn bare though because I'm running out of funds and quick too. The most important part that's missing at the moment is a bed... yup, that's right, no bed. And there hardwood floors too... C'mon, you know you want to spend the night!

Anyways, I did some serious shopping yesterday and today. I spent a least over a grand... and yet I still don't really have anything. I'm an expensive shopper though, I've got to get the best of everything. Like my new microwave... you can actually *grill* stuff in it... its got a little rack and everything... I'm so proud of my microwave... lol... "Hey guys! check out my new car!" Oh yeah, "Well check out my new microwave! Its got a grill inside!".

The sad part is I don't do any fancy cooking so it will be a while before I ever try that part out. Oh ya man, I got some sweet dishes though. There real fancy and stuff... kind of hard do explain what they look like though... Got some nice knives too, there all one-piece, meaning the handle and blades are not separate. This way there stronger and last a long time. Same with the other silverware I got... all one piece. Then I got a toaster which is not amazing, but it should do the job, fits bagels too.

So yeah, then I got all my electronic gadgets online. I bought a new silver edition PS2 and Dark Cloud 2 to go with it. Yes, I'm aware the PS2 is very old now, but I like it and besides I already have a PS3 as well. Unfortunately my PS3 doesn't support PS2 games. Anyways, I had to get lots of adapters so I can hook the PS2 up to my computer monitor... because I don't have a TV either. Not that I'd really want one anyhow, my computer is pretty sweet, I built it myself I might add... lol.

I also bought a fancy computer desk online made of glass and aluminum or some sort of metal. Its seems really nice in the picture and it got good reviews... its supposed to be real sturdy, which is good. Here's a link actually: http://www.modernfurniture.com/office/desks/madisonclearglasscomputerdesk.cfm

Then I got a nice floor lamp from the same place:

Also, pretty fancy... lol. What I really, really, want though is this sweet looking bed:

Its costs way too much though... maybe next year... lol.

The first post...

Okay, this is a first for me... a journal post on a dating site. Jezz, so what should I talk about... hmm... what I did today.

Well, first up I went to work and worked on my project for a couple hours, then went to lunch with my co-workers. We went to this Mexican place called Piranha, or something like that. Oh, and that was another first for me... a mexican place, never been to one before... well unless you count Taco Bell, which I am not going to (although I do like their food). Anyways, the food was good; I had the "crazy chicken" or Pollo Loco, well something like that. It was pretty good to...

Then we stopped at a "game store" which I assumed was a "video game store", but turns out it was a board game store. Another first for me. This is the Dungeon and Dragons type store, where all the nerds hang out. I must say it was actually pretty cool, and I did buy a game. Its called Carcassonne and it seems like it would be fun. I haven't played it yet, but I've read most of the rules. I'm not going to explain it here though because I'll probably get it all wrong because I haven't *actually* played a game of it yet. Maybe tomorrow... just got to round up some nerds... or convert some of my family members... both should do just fine.

Then I went home, played some guitar for a couple of hours, then I went on the computer and checked my email and stuff. Finally I noticed a email from OkCupid about some "potential" matches or something like that. And one of those matches was an *actual* match in my opinion; I was blown away really... No I'm not to give details here... don't want to embarrass them that much... not yet at least... I embarrass myself enough for everyone though, so there's really no need to.

Well that's pretty much it, now I'm going to play some videos games and go to bed. At least I have off on weekends, so no work for me!
