My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Originally from the Netherlands I've been in the Bay Area for almost 7 years. I'm a relaxed, open guy with a wide range of interests. An introvert by nature, I love intellectually stimulating discussions, art, music, cinema, bars, tech geekery. I guess the most important thing I am looking to share is inspiration and adventure, aka life.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Doing my part to commercialize space + a new interest in the intersection between neuroscience and computing.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Seeing the bigger picture.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My Danish accent? (hint: I'm Dutch)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Most recently I've been captivated by the coursera course 'A brief history of humankind'. Amazing story.

More generally, in no particular order: Werner Herzog, Marcel Proust, Andreij Tarkovski plus many others. Mostly reading non fiction these days so bookwise it's kinda hard.

Movies I appreciate alternative, non mainstream. Worked in different cinemas in Amsterdam so i've seen a lot of movies.

Same holds for music. Love White Stripes, Bach, Moss, Muse, Drum n Bass, Aphex Twin, Squarepusher, Radiohead, Steely Dan, Talk Talk, dEUS, Phoenix....

Food is wide open, love indian, Thai, sushi, but open to everything (more or less)
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Living without the Internet would definitely be a challenge. Have been there before, but nowadays its kinda unimaginable. Inspiration is another one. Love. Air. Life.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How to deconstruct reality. And what i'll do once I get my greencard.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Either meeting up with friends in a bar or having dinner. Or I'm catching up on reading and laying low after a busy week of work
