My Self-Summary
I am very mature for my age but I have the heart of a 5 year old -- painfully honest, innocent and pure. When it comes to other people, I really try to be the best person that I can. I council on a regular basis with all of my students in order to make their lives better. Because at the end of the day, that's really what matters.
for the past 4 or 5 years, I've lived my life in a strange way. I basically acted like college was never going to end. Clearly this was not true and so I'm trying, albeit very difficult, to live each day just kind of one day at a time.
It may seem strange to those who plan their lives out, who say that order is bliss -- but life really takes a hold of you when someone poses a question to a friend or family member like "have you accomplished everything you wanted to in your life". A doctor asked that of my aunt one day a few months ago and I don't know that I would be able to say yes yet. I'd love to say that I've truly changed someone for the better. I'd love to say that I have left my mark anywhere in the world where it cannot easily be erased but I'm just not sure that it's the truth.
They call me sunshine at work. I'm always smiling, dancing, singing and spreading cheer.
i'm in love: please respect that.
What I’m doing with my life
training to be an opera singer -- my teacher sings with the lyric. :)
Honestly, I'm desperately trying to figure out where to go from here. Do I want to get a second BA? Do I want to teach? Be a starving artist? I've wanted them all and I've done them all for a minute or two. Still, where do I go? that's really what I'm doing with myself. I'm trying to find myself completely. whatever that may be.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food
i was trying to not get into the series but it sucked me in.
Vonnegut, Francesca Lia Block -- all of it. If you give a mouse a cookie, New Grove Encyclopedia of Music, New Grove Encyclopedia of Opera, Pride and Prejudice, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, Romeo and Juliet, Kontakte, Phantom Tollbooth etc...
as far as music, everything but... here are a few at the top of the list:
Dvorak, Mussorsky, Reich, Copland, Ella, Billie, Mozart -- due to his lack of respect for the upper class and ridiculous intelligence, Smetana, Tchaikovsky, Chopin, Owl City, MIKA, Death Cab for Cutie, Andy McKee, Imogen Heap, John Mayer, Fleetwood Mac, Penny and the Loafers, Nickel Creek, The Last 5 Years, Ben Folds, Landon Pigg, Moby, Run Lola Run Soundtrack, Nicolaus Esterhazy Suite, Vivaldi, Boston Pops Orchestra and many more to come...
food: mostly fruit and veggies. a bit of chicken and turkey here and there. totally in love with peanut butter, potatoes, curry and chocolate --- not all at once. (also coffee. I'm addicted but the first step to recovery is admitting you have a problem)
Movies: Love Actually, Saved!, Run Lola Run, Amelie. As far as movies are concerned, I lack the education about film to know what to watch. I also live under a rock when it comes to movies, so any suggestions are very welcome.
