Friends would describe me as fun, dependable, witty, hard working, tough, and funny with a dry sense of humor. I have a strong sense of self, and am easy going about most things, but quite impassioned about others.

I was born and raised in Wisconsin, and have lived in Asia for four years, including two years in a yurt in Mongolia while in the Peace Corps.

I'm smart, funny, and a mensch.

Currently working for the man while pursuing creative stuff on the side, and grateful to finally be in New York.

I love all music, especially indie rock and The Pixies. I don't watch much TV, except for 30 Rock, The Office, and South Park.

I watch a lot of movies, and recent favorites included Synecdoche NY, Moon, The White Ribbon, The Cove, Dogtooth, Tuesday After Christmas, and The Tree of Life.

I read a lot a book or two a week, and prefer heavier stuff: Ian McEwan, Christopher Hitchens, Cormac McCarthy, Kazuo Ishiguro, Salman Rushdie, Michael Ondaatje, and Michel Houellebecq. I read the Chron, the Guardian, and the NY Times online, and still laugh out loud reading The Onion.

Good food, great friends, conversation, music, literature, and coffee.
