I am happy, haunted, and huggable..

My Self-Summary

Ctrl + a, Ctrl + x....

Lets start new shall we??
we will get the basics out of the way...
I am 24, Atheist, polyamorous, bisexual and going though a divorce.

2008 was a really long and drama filled year for me... which wasnt cool at all because I am typically a very no drama kinda person. I went through a lot of loss that year.
I was in a quad that fell through and I lost my loves (all three of them) my house, and everything that went with the bright shiny existence I had before.

As I always try to stay focused on the positives, I will say, I got to keep the three things that matter to me,
my kids, my freedom and my sanity.
throw in my ability to love is still intact and the added bonus that I am more independent now and it really looks like I came out on top of it all.

Now that I am on the other side of most of the drama (still have to finalize the divorce) I am happy because I made it through. I have a boyfriend who I am completely committed to. (and we are still open to others) and my life is finally finding a new normal. :)

What I’m doing with my life

So far, living it! Raising my kids. Eventually I would love to be a doula (I have attended one birth as a doula, but I am not currently certified. Certification isnt necessary, but it looks better) and maybe eventually a midwife.

I currently work in a call center doing tech support, it can be annoying but overall its an easy job and I like it. I seem to be one of the few who do...but I guess I have had some really crappy jobs and I cant complain about talking to people on the phone all day.

I’m really good at

looking on the bright side, Giving head rubs, loving (and I dont mean the naughty kind... you'd have to ask someone else about that!), making pancakes, cuddling, Giving shy naughty smiles, understanding and giving the benefit of the doubt.

Im bad at trusting my intuition... Im so skeptical that I totally ignore that little voice, unfortunately it has this uncanny ability to be pretty much 98% correct.

Getting over hurts quickly, compersion, accepting people as they are.

The first things people usually notice about me

its probably my glasses, or my hair.... I dont really know. maybe my smile.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Music: Tool, A perfect circle, Isis, Aereogramme, Chevelle, Incubus, Tori Amos, Sarah mclauchlan, Natalie merchant, monolith, system of a down.... Im sure theres more that I am forgetting.

Movies: Session nine, kissed, American beauty, Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind,cry-baby (so bad its good!), moulin rouge (shush!), crash, anything with kevin spacey is pretty good.

Books: I used to read a lot more than I do now... used to be really into anything written by Anne Rice (especially the vampire chronicles) I really like adult fairy tales (like white as snow by tannith lee) Art psalms by alex grey, anything from an Atheist point of view. I just went to B&N and spent like 160 on books 2 months ago and I already wanna go do it again... I love reading anything and everything I can get my hands on. I want to own a library.

The six things I could never do without

things that make me happy are... (in no particular order)

1.My kids (of course...)
2.Thunderstorms
3.sex
4.the interwebz
5. companionship.
6.love
7. Chocolate
8. Freedom.
9. lists (mmmm sexy organization)
10. nerdy guys.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Who I am. Making sure that I never get into a relationship where I lose sight of my sense of self. Compromise is always a good thing, but too much giving can make for an angry person. Balance is key. :)

On a typical Friday night I am

online talking to my friends, or watching a movie.... Most assuredly I am at home doing something boring. ;)
Friday night is my night to myself lately, my boyfriend works and I am home because my kids are sleeping.

Saturday night is my date night with my boyfriend.
for a while it was Cookies & Dr. Who night, now that we finished Dr. Who it is Cookies and Queer as folk night... ;)

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I cant stand sleeping alone. (like, really, I end up staying up half the night just because I cant stand going to bed without someone there!)

You should message me if

...you're happy and you know it?

haha I suppose if I interest you in anyway, or you'd like to get to know me better.

If you keep stalking me, hoping I'll message you... you should just go ahead and say hi... unless of course, you're just watching the car wreck as you sail on by. :p
