I'm a native Texan that moved to Austin in 2001. The past 12 years have flown by. I'm recently divorced and starting over. I'm pretty open to most anything, expecting nothing and looking for everything. I haven't "dated" in 10 years. I want to see the city again. I want to go places with new people. I want to hear your story, how you got here, what you've learned and what your doing next.
I don't fit into a "box". I'm the sports guy at a gaming convention. I'm the gamer dude at the sports bar. I'm not a nerd but I have a brain and I'm not afraid to use it. I can talk to you about the State of the Union address or the United Federation of Planets. I understand the 3-4 and 4-3 defense, the shotgun vs the pistol offense, icing, the 3pt play, tko vs ko, the difference between a bogey and a birdie as well as the difference between a suicide squeeze vs a sacrifice fly. I know the rules to many board and card games and that a lot of dice have more than 6 sides.
My music collection is in the 1000's. I'm comfortable with a glass of whiskey listing to Coldplay, a cold beer listening to Willie or a glass of wine listening to Adele. I don't see obstacles I see a challenge. I don't shy away. Some we'll win and some we wont. At the end of the day; when we lay down to rest...can we say we tried? I don't like living with regret. I'm fortunate that I can usually find something attractive in about 99% of the women I meet. What fun would it be if we were all alike? Living is learning, growing and experiencing.
