My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I spent the past couple years teaching little kids how to beatbox and sing a cappella as I rocked out with my own a cappella group. Then, everything changed when the real world attacked.

Now, I'm in a grad program for secondary science education. Basically, I aim to be the Bill Nye the Science Guy of chemistry. I'll still get to harness the energy of young children, this time with the added benefit of teaching them about a world which they can't see.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Back in school for the first time in a couple years, preparing to change the way DC high schoolers think about chemistry. I've also started a band with my friends and have been exploring DC to get a hang of the city. Let me know if you have any recommendations!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Karaoke. No, seriously.

Well, I'm cursed with the a cappella bug from my last two years singing bass in a group in Boston. Toss "Pitch Perfect" and general a cappella music on the list.

At the same time, I have a soft spot in my heart for Broadway from my theatre days. "Aladdin" is my favorite movie and I have a Disney Pandora station, so those go up there too.

Other movies include most rom-coms (I never tire of "Definitely Maybe"), Star Wars, animated work, and bro-ey comedies like "This is the End" and "The Hangover". Pretty much anything that can elicit a laugh gets a pass from me. Horror and thriller films, however, are usually a no go, with zombie films as the occasional exception.

Other music includes hip hop (Talib Kweli, Tribe Called Quest, The Roots, and Snoop are playlist regulars), so-called adult alternative (John Mayer, Norah Jones, Joshua Radin, A Fine Frenzy), and a healthy dose of classical (especially cello solos).

TV shows: Orange is the New Black was fucking amazing.

Food: Falafel. Seriously.
