Well in case you couldn't tell by my Screen name, my name is Marco. Yes just like Marco Polo but without the Polo...Sans Polo...as the French in France would say. (Kudos to whoever knows the reference)
Well I like to think of myself as a very laid back individual who marches to the beat of his own discordant drum. I could be wrong though. At heart I'm a big kid and I have a very easy time enjoying the smaller things I come across in life. A lifetime of ups and downs has taught me a lot about enjoying the moment and being grateful for what you have, so I do and am. Being a kid at heart though doesn't mean I'm anywhere even close to immature. Despite whatever impressions I've made so far or any conclusions you've drawn, I do have a very serious side and am more than capable of being an adult should circumstances call for it. Serious times call for serious attitudes but otherwise I'm a lighthearted soul who likes to smile and laugh.
I've traveled a great deal and have even lived abroad. I spent three years living in Germany. I've spent time in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, the Middle East, Central America and just about every country in Europe. The World is an amazing place and I love the fact that I've had the chance to see so much of it. Funny thing is I've basically circumnavigated the globe but not traveled the entirety of the US, my own home.
I have 3 major passions in life that no one could ever get in the way of: My Dog, Good Beer, and Bicycles. If you're down with any of these then we're both awesome and we should definitely get to know each other. Now when I tell people that beer is one of my passions they just chuckle and assume I'm an alcoholic which just isn't the case. Beer, brewing beer, and beer culture are all such amazing things. I actually am not a big fan of getting drunk. I just enjoy good beer for what it is: a delicate tapestry of flavors carefully woven by the brewer.
Enough rambling though because it would just keep going and then there'd be nothing left to learn about me if we spoke. So don't be shy. I'm not a douche and I don't bite so just message me if there's anything you'd like to know about me.
