I'm here in Tempe going to ASU, getting my MFA and my education certification. My program is awesome and I'm getting closer and closer to being a real adult ;)

I love theatre and teaching anything theatre-related. I'm a big fan of the open-mind, the critical thought, humour, being genuine, and going with the flow.

Really, I think that people have a lot more in common than they think when it really comes down to it, but I know that most of us don't get the chance to get to know each other well enough, which is really too bad. We're all too busy doing other things -- what could be more important than making friends and having loved ones? I don't know.

I Love: really knowing people, big plans, good stories, having people make me laugh, watching movies and plays, eating hummous and crackers, being teased by people I love, being part of communities/teams, being silly and funny, being serious, hot chocolate. Enjoying my life.

I love people who: appreciate me, are interested in what I have to say, have interesting things to say, have things that they love to do, people who think...people who get me. Sometimes that takes awhile and sometimes it happens right away :)

Going to school at ASU. Interning to be a high school theatre teacher. Doing improv.

Being creative, having an open mind, listening, having fun, being silly, and being serious.

I've been told by a lot of people that I am a very positive person, which is nice to hear. I'm not cotton candy for brains positive, but I do try to think that when a door closes, a window opens.

Books - the Harry Potter series. I don't read as much as I'd like to. The Artist's Way and the Presence Process changed my life -- these two will probably give you a good idea of where I'm at in life.

Movies: Remember the Titans, Ocean's 11, Fight Club, The Talented Mr. Ripley, Mean Girls, The Notebook, Eurotrip, 10 Things I Hate About You.

Music: I was just lent Rush - Gold by someone who thinks it's crazy that I don't know Rush because I am Canadian. I like classic and indie rock, and lots of different types of music. Faves: Postal Service, Queen, Weezer, Imogen Heap, Death Cab, Kate Havnevik, CCR, the Beatles. I love the song 99 Red Balloons. I love the Remember the Titans soundtrack.

Food: I love trying new food. I like pretty much everything, to some extent. I am not a huge fan of Mexican food, which is kind of funny now that I'm in AZ. I think it's more that I don't like fastfood chain Mexican food.

How I going to do what I love to do and enjoy my life. Then I think about how to stop thinking about this stuff, because I think about it a lot.

Sometimes I'm performing at a show, or watching one. Or I'm hanging out with friends, or "doing homework" which usually turns into hanging out with friends.
