My self-summary
I have a great job with a relatively high hourly wage along with excellent medical and retirement benefits. Seven years of seniority insures job security. I also have two weeks vacation time per year that can be taken in four hour increments. Imagine meeting me at a restaurant in Seal Beach on a Wednesday at 11:00 AM. Then spending the rest of the day together walking, talking and getting to know each other. We could do that twice a month and I think it would be excellent therapy for both of us. This could be in addition to weekend dating.

I do not have any long term debt and pay off my credit card each month. I evaluate my total net worth every two weeks so I have a good handle on where I'm at and when to make changes. I also get a full physical each year and I'm happy to say that I did not have any "flags" on the last one. I also began asking for copies of my physical results and now have a record of the last five years. And the best part is I do not consume any prescription drugs.
What I’m doing with my life
Working and saving towards a great retirement. Intently focused on diet and exercise. Plan to buy a crossword puzzle booklet and exercise my brain 30 to 60 minutes a day. Looking for a partner to share the next 40 years with.
I’m really good at
1) Being honest. I'm not smart enough to be a successful liar.

2) Working with my hands. I have a garden for tomatoes and herbs. I also do light work on my vehicles.

3) I have developed a great diet that includes seeds, nuts, garlic, ginger root, berries, both raw and cooked cruciferous vegetables, carrots, onions, cilantro, apples, tomatoes, squash, extra virgin olive oil, coconut oil, organic apple cider vinegar and I only cook chicken or beef with water in a crock pot. Light salt and turmeric for seasoning. Liquids include almond milk instead of cow milk, club soda with a shot of lime or lemon juice on the rocks or filtered water. I also drink 1 cup of coffee at work starting at 6:00 AM. The rest of the morning I drink non-caffeine tea.

4) I have just added pumpkin seed oil to my diet along with Collard greens and yams. Pumpkin seeds were already part of my 'medicine bowl' however after reading that pumpkin seed oil can help to reduce prostate gland size in mature men I thought why not? This is for prevention not because I have a problem with this gland.

I was surprised when I read that 1 cup of steamed collard greens provide 1043 % of the daily value for vitamin K. Vitamin K helps bones absorb calcium. Cooked collard greens act to reduce cholesterol and help prevent cancer by supporting our detox and anti-inflammatory systems. Yams are a good source of vitamin B6 and potassium. Vitamin B6 helps reduce the risk of heart disease and potassium helps to control blood pressure.
The first things people usually notice about me
I have good posture and stand straight. I'm proud of the fact that I can look straight down and see my toes! I couldn't do that five years ago.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I haven't read a book or enjoyed a concert in years. I'll address the remaining items later. :)
The six things I could never do without
1) Good Health
2) Ability to Think
3) Ability to Protect Myself and Loved Ones (2nd Amendment)
4) My Eyes
5) Ability to Exercise and Of Course...
6) The internet.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
1) Staying fit.
2) Making and saving money for retirement.
On a typical Friday night I am
I have stopped working every other weekend for the summer. I will confess that Friday nights I do feel a little 'burned out' so for now I'm staying home and relaxing. On Saturday night I'm going to try a little harder to find that special person.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I sleep on my back without a pillow.
