My self-summary
I thought I should update this thing since it has been a couple years. I'm fairly quiet until you get to know me pretty well, then I talk quite a bit about random topics. Unfortunately, my brain is like an encyclopedia of useless knowledge with no practical application for it. Anyway, I'm very easy-going, laid-back and other non-threatening hyphenated words. I tend to have a rather peculiar sense of humor a times. Some people have trouble telling when I'm joking about things, which incidentally is most of the time.

I love watching movies, listening to music (pretty much anything under the sun), playing video games (especially rhythm games), reading, hiking every once in a while, and hanging out with friends.

I am quirky, low-key, and sarcasm-laden
What I’m doing with my life
I'm actually a programmer analyst now rather than just a humble programmer. I still enjoy what I do. I'm just more busy now.
I’m really good at
Keeping cool in a stressful situation... Performing aimless tasks for hours... I really don't think much about what I'm good at though.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm short and I tend to mumble a good bit.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
(a) Entertaining authors: Stephen King, Hunter S. Thompson, Douglas Adams, Neil Gaiman, Agatha Christie (I'm a sucker for a good mystery), Chuck Palahniuk, random manga that I don't find crappy and generic ... House of Leaves was a great recent read also... I'm sure there are lots more. I'm just throwing out what's sitting on the surface of my brain right now. [2] Lots of great movies out there: Memento, Notorious, Amelie, Night of the Hunter, pretty much anything by the Coen brothers, Kill Bill, The Killing, Double Indemnity, the Monty Python films, Once Upon A Time In The West, Sin City, The Princess Bride, The Last Waltz, The Many Adventures of Winnie-The-Pooh, most Terry Gilliam films, Spellbound (or nearly anything else by Hitchcock for that matter), the Evil Dead movies, Peter Jackson films, particularly Dead Alive,Dark City... And of course, for unintentional hilarity: Maximum Overdrive & Troll 2 (although I love watching horrible movies in general... MST3K is one of my favorite shows).

I listen to pretty much at least a little of everything under the sun. I've actually got around 1500 CDs, so there's bound to be something from just about every genre of music ever on at least one of them. I'm not a fan of the new pop-country that sounds like 80's rock or Vertical Horizon, yes you Kenny Chesney. I'm also not a big fan of mainstream rap (except of course Lil' Jon who I find hilarious). That's really about it though.
My whole CD collection is here if anyone's interested: CD Collection
-D- As far as food goes, I'm a pretty huge Italian fan. I'm more picky about particular restaurants than foods actually. Although I don't like onions or peppers.
The six things I could never do without
I doubt there's really much I could completely do without. I mean, technically a person could survive in a small room in total darkness for years as long as they had bread and water to sustain them... But I'm gonna go with relationships with people like my friends and family as one thing I couldn't do without. I'm not a hermit contrary to my outer countenance would imply.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Making the most of what I have in the time I'm given.
On a typical Friday night I am
Who knows? Probably watching a movie, playing video games, reading, hanging out with friends, or wandering around aimlessly buying CDs I don't need.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
In 3rd grade, I was in the school spelling bee and was relegated to 2nd place by the word 'inforce'. The 5th grader who beat me is still at large.
