I'm pretty down to earth, thoughtful but have a strong sense of fun.

Itching to travel. Turkey and Lebanon and even Japan are high on the list.

I've also been working at a rape, incest and abuse hotline and at the end of each shift it really helps put life in perspective.

Listening and being empathetic while still being direct.

11238ny books... Life A User's Manual, absurdist plays such as The Blacks: A Clown Show by Genet or Mother Courage by Brecht and young adult novels such as The Phantom Tollbooth. I used to work in one of the most extensive academic indy bookstore in NYC and would spend as much time browsing the books as shelving them.... (at least we all knew the "products" very, very well).

And movies- Tampopo, Black Cat White Cat, After Life by Hirokazu Koreeda. And constantly adding to this list.

But my first love is live theater- especially playful unconventional experimental sorts- the kind where you can happily include your friend who's a painter as a performer and have a solo cello performance be the "voice" of that scene.

Music can range from o' timey country to electronica to funk- can go on and on this as well. Currently satisfying my new music fix with Newtown radio.
