I grew up in the Scottish Highlands. Went to University in North England. Lived in London for 3 years then got a transfer here 9 years ago and still love NY. Thinking about settling down though and hence why I am on here!

Getting back into acting again, have a play coming up in August 2013 but in the meantime my day job is in event sponsorship for various conferences around the US and in Europe..

Books - Anything by Scottish author Irvine Welsh particularly Trainspotting, The Road by Cormac McCarthy, The 4 Agreements, 4 Hour Work Week, The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle (I recommend that to read at least once), Love Hollywood biographies or books that dish the dirt on Hollywood and the film making process like Peter Biskind's or Kevin Smiths books. Currently reading Arnie's new biography.

Movies - Alien 1,2 and yes 3, Godfather, Braveheart, Shawshank Redemption, Pulp Fiction, Paths of Glory, Gladiator, Glengarry Glen Ross, Breakfast Club

Shows - Just started watching Breaking Bad and I am hooked, currently on Season 7. Also, Homeland, Boardwalk Empire, True Blood, Sopranos, Prison Break, Eastbound & Down, Blackadder, Dexter, Sleeper Cell, Cracker, Only Fools & Horses, The Wire, 24

Music - Mostly rock with some exceptions AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones, Alice In Chains, REM, Mogwai, Pink Floyd & Lionel Ritchie!

Food - Mexican, Thai, Chinese, Italian, Brazilian, Japanese.

1. Obviously friends and family although the fam is back in Scotland but I try to get back at least twice a year
2. Watching my beloved Scotland play in an international soccer match in a bar in the city. I'm usually in a kilt! Yes, I know we're shite as well!
3. iPhone, those bastards at Apple have me happily paying for all sorts of shit. I hate them for it but they're awesome.
4. Netflix
5. Alarm clock!
6. A bad pun when it's needed. But that's just my o(pun)ion haha!

How not to overthink and just be in the Now, in the moment as that's all there ever really is.
Also hopes and dreams, how to pursue them. How to be a better man. Where I will be after NY? Why I love terrible movies like Armageddon!

Ready to bring on the weekend, cheerful and bubbly, catching up with friends or even having a quiet night in. Depends on the events of the previous week.
