Okay, the job I had in India has come to a pleasant end. Man, it's great to be back in the US!!!

I got a note from a very pretty woman who gave me heck because she had to read all the way to the end of my profile to find out I'm allergic to cats.

Here it is...the "pitch".

I have been told to say that I'm an intelligent, confident,
emotionally conscious, fit, sensual, funny, considerate and
thoughtful person. Personally, I don't believe half of it.

No children, ex's, ties or dependents. While I have truly wonderful
friends, they are no substitute for an intimate partner in life.
Preferably someone better and hotter than I deserve.

And while we all want that profound relationship, I'm also looking
for someone who can make me laugh so hard I cry.

I believe life is too short.

I have a law degree (although, strictly speaking I'm not a lawyer
since I don't practice law) who - until recently - was slugging it out in the corporate world. Now living in beautiful downtown Port Washington, NY. I was overseas for a couple of years, but India was not my bag. I'm back, considering retirement but working on the outline for the rest of my life.

I've spent my working life as a corporate type, however I'm secretly a lefty Democrat with a sense of social responsibility. We all have our character flaws, I guess.

NOTE 1: Please, no Tea-Partyers, creationists, religious zealots, climate change deniers, or homophobes. Terrorists are OK, but only if your next target is a Carnival Cruise Ship.

NOTE 2: A woman in Kentucky had this on her profile. I have just cut and pasted it because it says it so well: "NO REALITY CRAP!!! NO DWTS!!! NO AMERICAN IDOL!!! Could not care less about celebrities..."

I actually am trying to figure out where to live. Suggestions are welcome! After returning from India I moved to Port Washington (NYC area) simply because I had previously lived in White Plains (also NYC area). But I'm not tied down to this place. I have no family, and the means to live anywhere in the US I want. I prefer warm over cold but not hot over warm. Where is it 75º all year around?

Remembering the names and faces of people who are attractive or who can help advance my own interests. Or both. (Does that make me sound shallow?)

Seriously, I'm really good at dealing with emergency situations and keeping my cool. It's a knack I have.

I have a deep voice. I'm always the guy who is asked to say "Luke, I am your father!."

Films: I love those old 1950's Film Noir movies that you see on TCM. Books: Any book written by David McCullough.
Music: Jazz...mmmm.
Food: Cantonese Take-Out
