My self-summary
I moved here for work, I recently got promoted which comes with a photoshoot I had to wear the suit. I'm really surprised at how quickly people who live in Portland judge me, but I'm still hoping to meet some chill people to run wild with, and even a girl to be my best friend/girlfriend. It might seem stupid to put that out there but I know why I'm looking for that. Also my pics are current, I am very active but that's only one part of who I am. I say there's more to me if you actually want to meet and talk. I even wrote a little story because sometimes I'm creative like that, here's a sample....

P.S. My pics won't tell you what I value most in most, how smart I am, how compatible we really are, if I have character, what I am passionate about, and most important who I am, I hope to meet someone who wants to know all those things about one another and have some fun while doing it...

Let me tell you a story about a dancer...

I met a dancer around five years ago, I went to a dance class to prove I really would try anything. I liked being outside my compfort zone.

Little did I know the class was for the more advanced members so there was no one as inexperienced as I to show me the ropes, I had to sink or swim.

To sum up the night a man in his 70s led me...his lesson was about leading my partner and telling her where to move. A teenager impressed me...his lesson was to add my own style and feel the music, and a woman in her 50s let me pretend to lead her, all the while telling me I was doing better than most.

None of them was the dancer I was referring to though. There was this girl who was all the things I'm not in all the ways I couldn't be, I could just tell by the way she moved there was more to her.

She was graceful, artistic, kind, sophisticated, and mature beyond her years.

I approached her and used a line, she rolled her eyes.

I took off my shirt and tried again she rolled her eyes and then walked away.

Refusing to give up I took her gently by the arm, and stared into her eyes while I wrapped my arms around her waist so she didn't have a choice, and I remembered the lessons I had learned that day.

Well I figured I could just wing it...

I pulled her close, stepped on her toes, and was about to move in closer when she slapped me and left the class abruptly.

I came back every day for a year, until one day she showed up again. I smiled but I didn't approach her, I taught another man that was new that night to dance as the others had done for me. She watched and even smiled once or twice when the guy stepped on my toes and I tried not to wince in pain.

At the end of the night she asked me dance.

That's the story of how I met a dancer.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Why, where, who, when
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
When people say they are an open book...I think wow the most recent book I read was written by Arthur Schopenhauer and he was a deep dude, I mean I was into it, but his take on philosophy is so complex I thought to save it for a stretch of time I can set aside to dedicate my complete attention to interpreting his work. Back to the expression, some people say they are an open book...well what kind of book, and is this book something I'm interested in? Text books are generally not that interesting unless, well I already finished grad school. Can I understand the "book" even though it's open? I mean there are erotic novels, is this really what you mean? There are fiction, non fiction, true crime....I mean what are you trying to tell me? Anyway I meant to answer the question, the most personal thing I'm willing to admit, hmm well anything, I'm and open book....
