Personally I dislike the online thing, everybody is too quick to judge, if you are over a certain age and that makes it nearly impossible to meet people. I'm one of those rare people that reads a profile before looking at pictures. Sites like this and the internet in general is turning me into a misanthropist.

I love the outdoors, camping, fishing, hiking, drives in the mountains are all me! Sadly most of my friends are city people and stuff outside the city scares them. If I could, I'd move to a remote mountainous place with lots of books to escape it all.

I'm also a fan of most of the scientific fields out there today. I would love a job that had field work or lots of hands on science. I'm also a big space nut. I honestly think we should have a moon base by now and have walked on Mars at least once. Space exploration is a major drive for innovation, abandoning it like our current government has is very idiotic in my mind.

For a long time my relationships where with a good book and a cup of tea. This didn't sit well with my friends and I got dragged out to stuff. I always wanted to be a writer but my mind is so busy I find it hard to concentrate on writing.

I'm a big food nut, or food snob depending on how you interpret my reactions and beliefs. I love food too much to be vegetarian and I'm totally willing to remove cute fuzzy animals from nature to make tasty food.

I have salt & pepper hair, I started going grey in high school and have facial hair. I'm rarely seen without a hat and usually wear cargo's with a t-shirt.

I'm staff with Anime Bazai it's a local Anime Convention held in the fall each year.

I also do lots of volunteer work.

I can cook and understand technical stuff.

They don't notice me, most people ignore me and honestly I'm perfectly happy with that.

I just need the basic necessities for life and the occasional fishing/camping trip to relieve stress. I would also go nuts without tea and a good book.

I have a very busy mind and its hard to turn off. So I usually end up thinking of some scientific theory or pondering how vast the universe is.

I can visualize a movie in my mind, mentally press play and watch the movie... this is how I get to sleep... sometimes....

I sometimes visit clubs like Area 51 or Club Vegas and see my friends play in their band. Usually I'm just reading a book or working on the computer.
I'm a big outdoor nut and if I can my weekends are spent camping or fishing.

I'm very to the point and have little to no tact.

I'm in a relationship right now but I could really use a friend to do outdoor stuff with, most of my current friends don't like the outdoors. I usually end up going fishing alone, a fishing buddy would be nice. Or fun conversation over tea!
