My self-summary
Hmmm.... I don't think I can summarize myself in just a little box. Why don't you message me to find out?

But here's a hint:
I am Quirky, Mischevious, and Understanding
What I’m doing with my life
Just graduated Law School and am begining my legal career in Denver, Colorado. My job is semi-confidential so I can't really discuss it here. In my free time I've been having a great time exploring Denver.
I’m really good at
Cooking, Sleeping, Biking, Word games in general and Scrabble in particular, Extreme Distance Walking, Massage, Discovering Beautiful Places.
The first things people usually notice about me
That I usually have my head in the clouds or in a book. I've mastered Belle from Beauty and the Beast's reading while walking and avoiding catastrophe skill.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: White Oleander, Dear Theo, Lolita, Slaughterhouse-five, Farenheit 451, The Night Circus, Candide, Twilight(yes, it is trash), Water for Elephants, The Chronicles of Narnia, Three cups of Tea, Snow Country, The Samurai's Garden, The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie, Love in the Time of Cholera, Animal Farm, The Lord of the Rings, Interview with the Vampire, The Vampire Lestat, Pride and Predjudice, 1776, The Spy, The Age of Innocence, The House of Mirth, and far too many others for this list to ever be finished

Movies: Shawshank Redemption, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, The 39 Steps, Requium for a Dream, Fight Club, The Spanish Apartment, 10 things I hate about you, Twelve Monkeys, Casa de Areia, American Beauty, Rent, Casablanca. Honestly I end up enjoying almost all movies even if they are of questionable quality. I didn't really get to watch movies growing up because of my uber-strict Caribbean parent, so watching movies is still a relative novelty for me.

Music: I'll listen to any kind of sound, so long as it's of good quality.

Food: Maryland Crab Cakes, Bulgogi, Spicy Tuna Rolls, Salmon Sashimi, Lobster Bisque, Johnny Rocket's Malts, Roti Canai, Haribo.
The six things I could never do without
1) My friends & Family
2) Karaoke
3) Taking walks
4) Central Park
5) Ricky (my loyal macbook, he makes a great pet, since he never sheds, poops or eats furniture)
6) Beauty... not in the superficial hollywood way, but the beauty that permeates our world, if we only look for it... The delicate decay of an Autumn leaf or the soothing sound of the raindrops that cleanse the city streets.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
~Why I am he as you are he as you are me and we are all together.

~The future... and how we can possibly keep it from becoming royally screwed up.

-The net present value of all possibilities.

-How to convince my cat not to use humans as scratching posts.

-What to add to my bucket list.

-How to experience the world authentically in an age of irony.
On a typical Friday night I am
Out with friends, in with my books, or hanging out with my Mom (who is THE Original Gangster)
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I used to think Siamese cats were conjoined twins.
I’m looking for
  • Everybody
  • Ages 18–50
  • Near me
  • For new friends
You should message me if
You like to share music, enjoy a good conversation, and are genuinely interested in getting to know me.
