Hey everyone, I live in Roseville and commute back and forth
between different schools in this area. As a result dating is
difficult, hence why I am back on this site again. I teach
American
History and thus love that subject, as well as
politics. However, I also love
hiking and going
out on the town. I love dating and meeting new people, and I'm
hoping to eventually find that special someone, though I like
keeping things casual in the beginning.
I teach American History at various colleges and absolutely love my
job. Thus, though I technically live in Markleeville, I commute all
over this area of the state, which makes dating a bit difficult.
Hence why I'm on here :).
Teaching, hiking,
cross
country running, making people laugh, bitching about movies,
putting my thoughts into writing, naming all the presidents in 30
seconds (I will only do this for certain people)
Books: I spent so many years in school getting my Masters' degree
that most of the books I've read are nonfiction. Really, the only
fiction I have kept up on is
Harry Potter,
J.R.R Tolkein, and
various comedic authors. I can bit a bit of a geek, though I assure
you I cannot speak Elvish or Klingon, nor do I own any such
costumes.
Movies: Wow, way too many to name. I have closely followed the Star
Trek and Star Wars franchises (both of which, especially the
latter, have sometimes let me down), as well as the Bond films. I
also love comic book films in general, though only good ones. Some
of my favorite directors include Steven Spielberg, Ridley Scott,
Mike Judge, Tim Burton, Peter Jackson, and Bryan Singer. Oh yes,
and I love
Pixar
movies way more than a 20something man should.
Music: I'm an old-school '90's rock guy.
Pearl Jam is my favorite, followed by
Nirvana,
Alice in Chains,
Soungarden, and
R.E.M. I also own quite a lot by
Radiohead, Stone Temple Pilots,
The Offspring,
Jeff Ott, and early Green Day,
Weezer, and Smashing Pumpkins.
Food: I can be annoyingly picky but I love
Italian in general, as well as various
forms of rice, beef, chicken, and pasta.
Family, friends, stars (I like
star watching), books, mountains,
and (had to think for this one) seasons
For regular things my career, my dating life and my future. For
more cosmic thoughts, the size of the universe and man's place in
it.
I have a fear of thunderstorms. I can be more private but only if
I'm comfortable with someone
You live in this area of California and you're looking for a decent
guy to go out with
If you like hiking, star watching, or history
If you're hot for teachers (had to throw that one in)
If you love hanging out around Tahoe
