I am clever, meticulous, and sassy.

My Self-Summary

I am a lighthearted, friendly, sweet mom to two beautiful young children. I'm attractive, intelligent, educated, and have a great career.

After a 16 year relationship, I have only been on the dating scene about a year and a half so it's all kind of new to me still. However, I will say I LOVE online dating. I think it can really work and I think it's much easier than meeting someone anywhere else. I've met many great guys on this site, a few of whom I am still friends with. I always think it's a good idea to just start as friends and see how that works out. If there is anything else there, it will happen. For me, meeting someone online is better than in person because I for one can't tell by looking at someone for the first time if I am attracted to them. I know this is not the case for most men, as you are all more visual. But for me, I don't know if I'm attracted until I really start talking to them. Sure, I can say he's cute or he's hot, but then you start talking and it can be like, "How do I get away from this guy?" Online, you not only get to see a picture, but you get to find out a little about what he's about, personality wise. Then you can exchange emails, IM, then talk on the phone, all before you actually have to agree to go on a date. By the time I'm good with going on a date with you, I already know we can carry on a decent conversation and there's a good possibility we can at least be friends.

I've probably been out with about ten guys I met online and only two of the dates were actually bad. And I don't know if I even regret the two because to me, it's all a learning experience. And I definitely have a lot to learn about dating.

I am definitely a glass half full girl. I prefer to look on the bright side and stay positive. I think bad things will always happen, but it's how you handle those situations that will define your happiness. We each choose to be either happy or sad. No one can do this to us. So if someone or something is making you unhappy, you should change the situation or get away from that person. And if it's not something you can easily remedy, focus on the things in your life that do make you happy. I think anyone who has the time and resources to sit here online dating has it much better than the majority of the people in the world. Count your blessings.

Personally, I love my life and look forward to finding someone who is compatible with me to share it with.

What I’m doing with my life

I've been in banking over 10 years. I sell credit card processing to businesses merchant services and have been doing that for 4 years. I love my job. I get to work from home and travel around meeting new people all the time. Plus, I think I'm pretty good at it! I have a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration but have been thinking about going back to school for something different. You never know.

I’m really good at

being a Mom. My kids are beautiful and smart and the center of my universe. I'm a very balanced person though and know that I also need to take time for me.

Many of my friends would say I'm one of the smartest people (book smart) they know but I can also be kinda ditzy about common sense stuff. I do think I'm growing out of that to some degree. Just gaining more real world experience, I guess. I'm definitely not one of those people who have a lot of useless knowledge. Not that I think there is anything wrong with people who do. I just don't care.

People generally tell me I'm a really good dancer. I love to go out dancing and, apparently, I'm pretty "HOT" when I dance.

One thing that I've learned about myself in the past year and a half since I first separated from my ex, is that I am actually very intuitive, more so than most I think. I understand myself and my needs very well and I can also read others pretty well. I can usually see both sides of any given situation and why each person says or does what they say or do. One good thing for you if you decide to message me is at the very least, if I like you, you may get some good advice out of me about any other relationships (other women, your parents, exes, kids, colleagues, etc) your in. For some reason, this tends to happen to me a lot when I meet someone online. I end up being their therapist or helping them understand what's going on with other people in their lives. I enjoy helping people, so you don't have to thank me. :)

The first things people usually notice about me

Hmmm...The first thing people always seem to notice is my smile. I get that I have a great smile a lot, from men and women. I've had people tell me I have really pretty eyes and a nice complexion. That I don't need to wear make-up, but I still do for work and going out. I've had people complement me on my hair too but that's mainly women. I think after I have a conversation with people they generally think I'm pretty energetic and outgoing.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

I loved "The DaVinci Code" and a couple of other Dan Brown books. I also really enjoy Dean Koontz. His mind is just so "out there." He's a literary genius. This is probably horrible to admit, but I love romance novels. I guess I'm kind of a hopeless romantic at heart, even though I am perfectly aware that it doesn't always turn out that way. I haven't read any in a long time though bc I'm just too busy. Also, I've been reading the Harry Potter books. I wouldn't have thought it would be my thing but I had a couple of my good friends swear by them so I started reading them last summer. I had great momentum for a while but I've been on #5 for about 3 months. If I take the time, I can read a book in about 2 days, but I've just been too busy. I love to educate myself on things that matter to me, that I need to do my job and make myself more successful. When I read on my own time though, it's all about entertainment!

As for movies, I have a pretty broad spectrum that I like. I love Action/Adventure movies like Gladiator and Speed. I also love Romances and romantic comedies like A Walk to Remember and 50 First Dates. My favorite recent movie was August Rush. Everyone should see it. It is AWESOME!

I'm pretty diverse with the types of music I like too. I can listen to anything from pop to country to jazz to classical. My favorite style is pretty much what most of the country (or at least the younger 33%) listen to (pop, hip-hop, whatever is current and recent). Anything I can dance to, of course. I do have kind of a closet obsession w/ 80s music. Don't tell. Some of my favorite songs that I would love to share that you may have not heard (that I love West Coast Swing Dancing to): Sensuous, Sensuous (B-Tribe) - you won't find that one on Itunes though, Chocolate (Kylie Minougue), Ring My Bells (Enrique Iglesias), Sexi Plexi (Jack Johnson), Click, Click, Click (New Kids on the Block), Free Fallin (John Mayer), and Give It To Me Right (Melanie Fiona). Those are the sexy ones. Some faster ones I love to also Swing to are: Dr. Love (Donnie Klang), Cocaine (Robin Thicke), Take Control (Amerie), Feedback (Janet Jackson), Starstruck (Lady Gaga), and Fill Me In (Craig David).

I like a lot of different kinds of foods. I will usually try anything once. I love Italian and Mexican and SEAFOOD! There is a lot to be said for a Medium Rare petite filet & lobster tail!

The six things I could never do without

I could never do without my children, my family and friends, my IPOD, my minivan (yes, I just admitted it), TIVO, and dancing. Oh, one more: my toothbrush! Could you imagine? Gross! Well, I suppose I could live without my IPOD & TIVO but I would be pretty miserable! How did we live without these things 10 years ago?

I spend a lot of time thinking about

what I need to get done.

On a typical Friday night I am

West Coast Swing Dancing It is my passion. I am in love with dancing and I really hope that if you find me interesting, even if you're not a dancer, that you would be open to the idea of trying it out with me or at least going occasionally to hang out with me. FYI, this is not the big band swing you are probably thinking of. You Tube it if you're curious.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I'm dating online.

You should message me if

you are not a psycho! Stalkers, sadists, masochists, and really needy people need not apply. I'm a nice girl that just wants to have some fun but if you're just looking to get laid for one night, please look elsewhere. You have to be willing to spend at least two nights w/ me! LOL. You absolutely MUST have a sense of humor and be able to laugh at yourself. I only want to chat with someone that can keep up with my lighthearted banter. Please, you don't have to be a genius, but if you aren't somewhat intelligent or educated (either will do, both is a bonus) don't contact me. I don't take off for a handful of misspelled words or a few typos, but if your profile is littered with them and looks like the work of my 6 year old, then I'm not for you. Otherwise, I hope to hear from you.
