Los Angeles is where I grew up, but I've spent some years in Northern California and Boston. I moved to Chicago about 10 months ago for work, and outside of the weather, I've loved everything this city has to offer so far. It's great rarely needing my car anymore. There are a handful of neighborhood bars within walking distance, and commuting on the train everyday gives me some time to read a book or when still too tired in the morning, play angry birds.
Since moving out here I joined a crossfit gym and have drank the Kool-aid so to speak. Working out within this community has become pretty important to me and it has played a formative role in my Chicago life.
