My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
My favorite season is autumn. When I go to the zoo I like to watch the otters for most of the time. I read books pretty often but I watch movies even more. Movies take less time. I think they have an unfair advantage. When my bike breaks I feel broken.

If I were to get a tattoo I have no idea what it would be, but I think I'd like it to go away after a year or two so I could get a different one.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm working in the service industry, thinking about what I really want to do with my life, hoping one of my hobbies might just turn into a career. I brew beer, ride my bikes into the ground and fix them up again, take black and white film photographs, and I think 'smithing is going to be my new thing. I'm thinking about one day either investing money and making more money without adding any value, or going into a programming field of some sort. For right now I'm just trying to be the most pretentious cocktail bartender I can be. (It can get pretty bad.)
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
All sorts of stuff. I'm pretty good with tools, and figuring out how things work. Getting through half a crossword puzzle. Cooking. Getting good at things.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My freckles.

Food: Lamb; potatoes made just about any way, from baked to fried, chips to perogies to tatty scones; pho; a good rare steak; anything new.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Maps, hardware stores, the internet, beer, whiskey, a bike.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Bad jokes and puns that I can pepper into conversations.

Why the fuck I'm on here when there's a perfectly good book next to me.

And this is going to sound nerdy, because it is, the physics problem du jour that I've either heard about, read about, or came up with.

All the words that rhyme with hung and how I could become a million dollar rapper equipped with this information.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
At work. In my line of work right now Friday nights are the prime money nights.

If I weren't working I'd like to be out with friends, playing pool at dive bars, or cooking myself dinner and watching a movie.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I wrote poetry. I dunno.

Private things are more fun when they're stories, and I'm trying to keep this whole thing brief.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
Your grandmother thinks you're eccentric.

You don't want to be taken on an adventure. You want to go on one as an equal and active participant. (I'm not a tour guide and you're not a tourist.)

You're looking for a drinking buddy on a weeknight, because I usually am. I'm not a drunk, but the reading/drawing/biking/exploring by yourself thing gets lonely, and I think occasional loneliness is the reason we're all here.
