My self-summary
Monogamist. Never cheated. No STDs. No bastard children (that I know of). You should be the same. Not on here to hookup. If we liked each other enough to do that, why wouldn't we want to see where it goes? I have no expectations, but time is the most valuable thing we have control of, so it's best not to waste each other's.
What I’m doing with my life
Most books put people to sleep. Mine wakes them up. As of July 23, 2014, it was ranked #2 in the Amazon Kindle store for Sci-Fi & Fantasy short reads and #1 in Kindle EBooks Dark Fantasy best selling categories. It made it up to #6 in Epic Fantasy.

It's been seen in 100 countries and sold during 75 of the last 76 days as of 7/29/14 (It's not 4 months old yet).

Here are some of the recent reviews (33 Five Star, 8 Four Star thus far):

✩✩✩✩ - (7/15/14) I saw the book shout-out on Twitter and decided to look it up. When I did I was intrigued by the cover and book description. Seeing the almost unanimous 5 star reviews made this an easy purchase. The author clearly has a command of the written word and one of those unending imaginations that makes you jealous. The world described was fascinating. So descriptive that even though it is foreign I had no trouble creating the landscape and scenes in my mind.

✩✩✩✩✩ - (7/13/14) I am in love with this book! Started and finished within a few hours and am greatly looking forward to Book 2. Dylan's writing is so beautiful, exquisite really, and it's a lovely read. I felt a range of emotions whilst reading it, had goosebumps, my heart was racing, and I even got a bit teary eyed at one point. Dylan is incredibly talented and I can't wait to see what he has in store for us in the next few books!

✩✩✩✩✩ - (7/12/14) This deserves so much more than 5 stars! Fellow Harry potter fans and games of thrones fans sink your teeth into this! Have not finished it yet but completely hooked......Dylan Saccoccio is solely responsible for my not having any sleep tonight!

✩✩✩✩✩ - (6/25/14) I was hooked from the first line. The story left me dreaming of a world where magic isn't divided so neatly into good and evil.

✩✩✩✩✩ - (6/11/14) Dylan Saccoccio had me the moment the dark cloaked figure at the walls began insolently causing destruction of epic proportions that only studio created natural disaster movies offer viewers today. I was able to feel the eloquently woven roots and branches of the emotions that created this figure so bent on ultimate revenge. Turning to other characters, their histories, in brief and the emotions and magicks that were part of their daily lives, and losses, sparked my imagination and hunger for completing the read. I am sold. Dylan's literary world, characters, their histories, the roots of their stories and their motivations have me aching for more! Well done!

✩✩✩✩✩ - (6/2/14) "I am an avid Harry Potter fan and I feel that this book is next to follow in those footsteps. It won't be long in my opinion before this author is at the top of the world and this book and the rest will be everywhere."

✩✩✩✩✩ - "That the author is part philosopher king, part great storyteller is a realization that comes to the surface time and again. Some favorite quotes stitched seamlessly into believable character conversation: 'To become so absolutely free that your very existence is an act of rebellion;' 'The ruling class frightens its population with staged bloodshed, and then corals them towards tranquility by offering a solution that tricks them into exchanging freedom for security.' Wow, I don’t think even George Orwell could have topped that." - Author Dean C. Moore

✩✩✩✩✩ - "I do not give a book five stars lightly, but this one swept me away to another world. The descriptions are so beautifully crafted that you actually can see the different worlds and hear the battles. I wanted more and was disappointed that it ended so abruptly. I cannot wait to see how this series develops. I'm not one for fantasy books, but I will definitely be reading the subsequent works of this author."

✩✩✩✩ - "The philosophy portrayed through the tale is also highly recommended and well-presented; namely, that freedom works, and government does not. Overall an entertaining read."

✩✩✩✩✩ - "The book has a magical and mystical aura and each word that is used to describe the boy's journey makes you yearn for more! I highly recommend this book for all! Looking forward to more books from this author!"

✩✩✩✩✩ - "The Tale of Onora is very short and yet it contains a lot of interesting events to follow. The concept around the book is very well organized and the entire process of ''growing up'' the main character goes through is quite intriguing."

✩✩✩✩✩ - "The entire fantasy world is created in such a way that resembles real life emotions perfectly and combines those emotions with a little fiction flavor. The way of narrating flows nicely and concentrates only on the most important things and that really helps in keeping your interest from the beginning to the end."

✩✩✩✩✩ - "The Tale of Onora is an excellent story with a great plot full of unexpected turns. The character development is excellent and this is truly a great read for anyone who enjoys the fantasy genre as much as I do."

✩✩✩✩✩ - "The storyline enwraps in a really fast pace, which makes the book suitable for people, who like entertainment. The main character starts off in a really handicapped position - an emotionally scarred orphan and goes through a lot of ''development'' to become what he is in the end of the book."

✩✩✩✩✩ - "The concept around the book is very well organized and the entire process of ''growing up'' the main character goes through is quite intriguing."

The journey is the reward. I'll have left behind something tangible to reflect my life, knowing that I danced and sang while the music was being played. I have no regrets other than being too driven and focused to enjoy the present moments sometimes, something I'm trying to get better at, and I didn't travel the world when the economy was good and there were tons of safety nets below me.

I play music a lot with my friends, but I have no desire to be a professional musician. I was heavily influence by Jimi Hendrix, but also by orchestral music, so I have a unique style that's fun to explore and almost never gets boring.
I’m really good at
Knowing the pretexts.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: The First Law trilogy, The Name of the Wind, The Wise Man's Fear. I finally gave in and am reading "A Game of Thrones" (I'm not impressed with it yet, and I'm 330 pgs into it. Update: I quit at pg 433. This book is energetically vacant and completely void of anything capable of evolving you spiritually.)

Music: I love everything that's made with passion. I play guitar like John Frusciante.

Movie: Gattaca

Shows: I rarely watch TV because I'm too busy making my own work, but I have Always Sunny, Archer, Sons of Anarchy, Pawn Stars, The Black List, Wild Alaska, Life Above Zero, etc. on my DVR for when I have down time.

Food: I haven't shopped at a grocery store for produce in years. I'm a farmers market kind of guy. It's less expensive, healthier, the food lasts longer because it hasn't been aging in transit, and you don't pay taxes on anything. Funny, before I moved to LA I didn't even know what one was. If you put a gun to my head, I prefer the style of Mediterranean food generally, but I eat everything except radioactive Pacific Ocean seafood and I try to avoid GMOs at all costs. I cook one of the best ribeye steaks on the planet.
The six things I could never do without
Love, in all shapes and forms.

Something to record my ideas (pen, paper, computer, whatever me may use next).

Instruments.

Other people to learn from and grow with.

The Trivium.

Empathy.
On a typical Friday night I am
My Friday nights are now free for the first time in 6 years. I'm either writing & marketing my book or I'm doing something creative and then going out with friends, or possibly you ;)
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I feel like being in LA too long has made me soft, or demasculated me somehow. That being said, my longterm goals are still manly.
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 22–40
  • Near me
  • Who are single
  • For long-term dating, short-term dating
You should message me if
Down the road, people will say that I am a better man because of the way you loved me.

You can be silly. We won't be the same people in 5 years, so if there's one thing I'd want someone close to me to keep consistent as she evolves, it would be having a great sense of humor!
