My self-summary
"A woman's highest calling is to lead a man to his soul, so as to unite him with the source. Her lowest calling is to seduce, separating man from his soul and leave him aimlessly wandering.
A man's highest calling is to protect woman, so she is free to walk the earth unharmed. His lowest calling is to ambush and force his way into the life of a woman. "

Hey-o! Nice to meet ya, I'm Kitsa. (No, not Krista or anything of the like. It's Kitsa. Keet-sah.)

I've been on here for a while and have rewritten my profile a couple times. This time, I'm going to make it short and sweet--

I'm a gamer, a geek, and a nerd – my current addiction is Skyrim.

I love to learn, game, and study – documentaries are fascinating and if you don't learn something new every day, then you're missing out on so much!

I'm a writer and artist at the end of the day.

I'm not looking to do one-night stands. They're a waste of everyone's time. Unless you want to catch coffee or lunch, you're going to be barking up the wrong tree. (Hint, hint! Coffee is amazing!)

I was a soldier in the Army and was discharged due to medical reasons. I was a military police officer.

I'm going back to school when my father's cancer goes into remission. Yes, cancer – it sucks, but it's reality. As such, I'll be completely truthful and say I'm looking for work as well, so I'm not anyone's sugar mama.

I don't drink or smoke, so please don't ask. I'm not a party girl, either.

I'm a zombie survivalist and can teach you how.

I love knives, guns, and mechanics. I did a year of automotive before leaving Michigan and living in Colorado.

I'm a flexitarian; which, for those who don't know, means I only eat meat two or three times a week. No, I'm not a hippie – I'm doing it for the health benefits.

I speak English, Spanish, and German. I want to learn Arabic and Latin. Maybe Greek.

While I can't promise I won't bite, I'm actually pretty nice. I'm the type of person to give the shirt off of my back to anyone that needs it, so don't judge me by my pretty green eyes.
What I’m doing with my life
Designing my own tattoos and deciding piercing places – I am extremely friendly toward ink and metal.
Getting back on my feet again – long story, but it's all good.
Preparing to possibly head back out west once I have a degree – I miss Colorado.
Planning lots of trips to different places... including going to Africa for a year once I have my degree in order to help less fortunate people.
Relearning Spanish and brushing up my German!
Hanging out with friends, making new ones, and rediscovering all that I love about myself.
Taking care of my father while he goes through cancer treatment.
I’m really good at
Hm. Well, I guess that's a very one-dimensional question.

Ask away for this one. I don't consider myself 'really good' at anything. I'm a Jack of all trades and a Mistress of none.

I can fix almost anything, pick up skills quickly, and love to learn. I'm an information sponge.

I give awesome massages and do some amazing writing.
The first things people usually notice about me
My height. At 4'11", it's always been a downfall.

My eyes. ... which are very light green-gray and can be very intense. I've taught myself to break eye contact so I don't come off as overbearing or creepy.

My T&A. Pretty obvious.

My presence. Sounds weird, I know, but I've been told that I'm just a very intense person and that people can be put off by how I am. Not something I do consciously, it's just me.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Oh boy. . .

Books:
I'll just say authors. Stephen King, Dean Koontz, anything by Wally Lamb, Socrates, Plato, Poe, and lots more. I have a couple bookshelves PILED to the seams with books.

Movies:
My favorite movie of all time is "The Crow," but my former roommate wrecked my DVD of it. I have a broad spectrum here, though. Anything from sappy movies like "The Notebook" to intense movies like "Shoot 'Em Up," I can easily watch. "Zombieland" is waaaaay up there for favorites, though. Horror is definitely my favorite genre. The Batman trilogy? Oh, god... cream in my pants.

Shows:
Definitely "The Walking Dead," "1000 Ways to Die," and stuff like that. If you watch documentaries, you automatically get kudos - and I also have a really bad addiction to crime shows now. "Archer," "Ugly Americans"... the list goes on.

Food:
Italian and Mexican are my weaknesses. Sushi is my favorite food, especially California rolls (I have a weakness for crab.) I don't really drink soda anymore, but I drink coffee and tea. I think I would die if I didn't get my tea or coffee.

Music:
I listen to everything. I'm willing to admit I like country, and will blare it from my truck. I also like hip-hop, some rap, dubstep, metal; pretty much anything. I've been hooked on Ludacris, All That Remains, and Jason Aldean lately.
The six things I could never do without
Tea/coffee/hot cocoa/juice. (I don't really drink milk (I prefer soy milk - more protein, no lactose,) and I happen to love coffee and tea. LOVE IT. )

Human interaction. (I need human touch. It's my thing.)

Cell phone. (It's pretty much glued to my hand - social interaction is nice. In the event of the ZA, though. . . I will probably only keep it for the pictures and memories within.)

Oxygen. (I know, a lot of people say this. I learned the value of oxygen when I hiked in elevation, though.)

Sex. (Yes, I admit it. Sex is good.)

Blankets/socks/hoodies/warm clothing/hot water to soak or bathe in. (I'm anemic with a low pulse and very low blood pressure. I freeze in this state, and happen to gravitate toward whatever warmth is available.)

I'm adding another. My laptop. Seriously, I'm attached at the bloody hip to my laptop.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What I want to do with my life,
The meanings of the things we do, and why we do them (insert philosophy and psychology here!),
My family and when I may start my own,
The zombie apocalypse,
What it would have been like if I was still in the Army.
On a typical Friday night I am
Depends on the Friday.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have PTSD, a slight limp, and flinch from quick movements - I also have a guilty love of Dungeons and Dragons.
I’m looking for
  • Guys who like girls
  • Ages 21–30
  • Near me
  • For new friends, activity partners, long-distance penpals
You should message me if
You want to know more about me, can form coherent sentences, and want to connect. I don't bite, not unless asked.

Also, not looking for hookups - if you're just looking for it, you're barking up the wrong tree.

Don't take that as I'm not friendly. I'm willing to talk to anyone, just sick of creeps.

Cheers!
