The following is totally stolen from my myspace page, mostly to save time for the moment. What you really need to know is that I'm a law student at Capital and that I'm new to Columbus. I recently bought a place in German Village and I'm trying to learn my way around and find the cool stuff.

I'm a 29 year old homeowner, a drinker and a smoker, a land title abstractor, a Realtor, an entrepreneur, fun, an auction-goer and an antiques enthusiast, a collector, the host of the party, a thoughtful observer, a good friend if you're good to me (and sometimes if you're not), a fan of interesting shoes, a computer geek, a casual dresser, more generous than I probably should be, a licensed title insurance agent, a music fan, a notary public, passionate, open-minded, well educated, occasionally spontaneous, loyal, dedicated, witty, a little too dependent on external validation, an escape artist (we're not talking Houdini here), a total sucker, politically-minded, addicted, a little too social for my own good, an oversleeper, a law student and a great many other things. I'm into the finer things (ie: champagne I can't afford, opera, art galleries and the like), and quite a few of the not-so-finer things (ie: whiskey and water, dive bars, gangsta rap, Jagermeister, porno, etc.). I like to think of myself as well-rounded. People who don't know me sometimes think of me as eccentric. Well, some of the people that do know me think of me as eccentric.

I'm going to law school, looking for a law clerk job and trying to figure out how to meet a nice boy.

Well, law school, apparently. I'm also an excellent listener and I'm told that I give good advice. Also, I will probably drink you under the table.

Usually my eyes, my glasses or both. Depending on my mood, some people first notice that I'm fairly funny.

Books: I haven't done much pleasure reading lately outside of the news and an occasional magazine article. I do like Al Franken, Michael Moore, Dave Barry, Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert. I liked a lot of philosophy stuff in college - The Stranger, The Plague, Being and Nothingness. I read The Unbearable Lightness of Being in Prague, which was excellent. I also like Venus in Furs, De Profundis, and On The Road.

Movies: I'm not a huge fan of movie-watching, but I do like Brokeback Mountain, Dead Poet Society, Idiocracy, The Shawshank Redemption, Serial Mom, and Romeo & Juliet (Yes, the DiCaprio version).

Music: I like damn near everything. The Velvet Underground to Timbaland. Pink Floyd to Johnny Cash. Mozart to Paul Oakenfold. Everything.

Food: Most people find my taste in food boring. I'm just a meat and potatoes, bread and butter kinda guy. Slather it in marsala sauce or a cognac reduction and I'll probably like it.

Food, water, shelter, air... I can't think of two other things. Well, perhaps money with which to buy the first three. I could do and have done without the Internet and a cell phone, but I'd really rather not.

My future and most of the obvious guy things. The Ohio Bar Character and Fitness Examination. My friends, how they're doing and whether or not they want to hang out tonight.

Drinking Jack Daniel's on Beck Street, unless my 'mo friends come up from my hometown and take me to somewhere... well, gay.

Uh... sometimes I grind my teeth when I'm sleeping. The rest you'll have to find out.
