I've just finished engineering degree programs in Biomedical and Electrical Engineering. I love to travel and have been to the Caribbean, England, Ireland, Spain, Greece, Turkey, Lebanon, Egypt, Malta, most of the United States, and several spots in the Bahamas and Mexico. I want to meet someone who just wants to go with the flow of things. I feel like I learn more about a person from spending time with them and seeing how they react to situations and, likewise, how they act upon opportunity when it presents itself. I'm not into twenty questions about your favorite color or who's your favorite music artist because inevitably, those are details that will reveal themselves in due time. What I want is someone who has a rough idea of what they want to do with themselves and maybe even a path in mind to get there. I know I'm at a crossroads in my life with a lot of choices (and not all of the answers, just yet) ahead of me that are likely to ultimately define who I'll become and where I'll end up, so I can't expect someone else to have all the answers to their own life either. Coffee, drinks, maybe dinner and/or a movie are all great ways to spend the evening with someone you're trying to get to know, so why not give it a shot and meet someone new. My thought is this: When you meet someone at the crossroads, why not find out if they'd like to join you on the path; who knows where it might lead.

I'm finishing an internship at a small engineering firm located in Quonset Point called Applied Radar. I'm about to head off on a two month odyssey traveling the US on my motorcycle. Come fall I'm thinking of heading off to Europe for a month or two.

starting up a conversation or joining an ongoing one. I think I'm a pretty good scuba diver and some friends are getting me into rock climbing. Needless to say, I like getting outdoors.

I have olive toned skin and almond shaped eyes, which usually give away my Lebanese heritage. Most people mistake it though for either Italian or Greek.

My favorite book is without a doubt Dune by Frank Herbert. I very much enjoyed The Prince by Machiavelli. I'm a big fan of Michael Crichton, Herbert's other works, Neil Gaiman, Douglas Adams, and of course, J.K. Rowling. Some of my favorite movies include Full Metal Jacket, Shaolin Soccer, anything else by either Kubrick or Chow, The Ninth Gate and From Hell (though I do like other films starring Johnny Depp), The Fifth Element as well as the first Die Hard, and many, many others. My current favorite genre of music at the moment would have to be electronica and electronic/synth rock. I'm also a big fan of classic rock, some modern rock, and even some funk, soul, and jazz fusion. As far as food is concerned, I have a hard time not enjoying something if it is indeed edible. In other words, I greatly enjoy eating just about everything I've ever tried.

1) My sister (even though we're not always the closest, she is my one true peer who I can always count on for good advice and support when no one else is around)
2) The Ocean (I've lived near the ocean my whole life and I think I would be seriously depressed if I had to move and settle somewhere inland, though I can travel inland easily enough).
3) Summer (by far my most favorite season, I thoroughly enjoy the warm weather and sunshine)
4) Vacations (life is too short to spend it working, there has to be time off to pursue travel opportunities or just have some leisure time to oneself)
5) My iPod (music always at the ready )
6) My laptop (dorky as it sounds, staying connected to friends, family, and the rest of my life through email, facebook, and the internet as a whole is a tough thing to have to live without)
