My Self-Summary
Hi! My name is Erica. I have a cat named Bulletz that I'm allergic to. I don't care. I love him. I am a native Coloradoan and I love it here!
Of course, I also love to visit and learn about other places. I have been to London, Holland, Canada, Alaska, and Malaysia.
I am planning to go on the Semester at Sea program to finish my college degree in Fall '10 where I will be traveling to:
* Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada
* Casablanca, Morocco
* Cadiz / Barcelona, Spain
* Istanbul, Turkey
* Alexandria, Egypt
* Chennai, India
* Singapore, Malaysia
* Shanghai, China
* Kobe / Yokohama, Japan
* Honolulu / Hilo, Hawaii
* San Diego, CA, USA
I CAN'T FREAKIN' WAIT!!!!
You may be thinking that my major is something like Cultural Anthropology or Sociology, or International Studies, but it's actually Theatre. I have had a passion for theatre since I was in elementary school and I couldn't see doing anything else. I love to play and entertain and explore the human condition!
I don't want to move to LA and become a famous movie star. That lifestyle doesn't suit me. I'm thinking of moving to Chicago after I graduate to give it my all out there. But I do enjoy Denver theatre and would love to be a regular at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts.
I love to laugh! And make people laugh! It's one of my strongest traits. I think there is no greater reward. I have alot of friends though most of them will tell you that I can be a little standoffish when you first meet me. But I warm up quickly and have no problem letting loose and having a good time.
It is very hard to offend me. I love discussing difficult topics and expanding my perceptions. I love seeing people's different points of view and welcome a good debate. I love to talk about things that matter in this world. I think that there is too many people talking about nothing all the time.
I enjoy camping, hiking, getting messy, and pushing my limits. I'll try pretty much anything once. I have eaten some crazy exotic foods in my lifetime and intend on eating more of them.
What I’m doing with my life
Also, like I said before, I'm going to school for Theatre. I also am minoring in English Writing. I have won a couple awards for my writing though I'm not terribly passionate about it like I am with Theatre and Travel.
I am already making a name for myself in Denver. I am currently in two improvisation troupes, The "Knits Wits" and "Christy's Angels". We sometimes play at the Bovine and sometimes at the Vintage. Check us out!
I also try and always be involved in some sort of theatrical production if I can help it.
Right now I am in three shows. One of which is an adaptation of "Alice in Wonderland" called, "Six Impossible Things Before Breakfast" where I play The Mad Hatter, Tweedledum, and the Red Knight's Horse. HA! We are touring the show around various schools performing it for kids. It's great fun and requires a lot of energy.
I’m really good at
They also have told me that I'm good at Improvisation. They say I'm funny.
They also tell me that I'm a good writer. I disagree.
They also say that I'm good with kids and senior citizens. I think we can learn alot from them.
They also tell me that I'm a good actress. I should hope so since that's what I want to do with my life.
The first things people usually notice about me
You'll have to let me know if you ever get a chance to meet me.
I'm curious.

MUSIC:(This is hard to pick just a few) Ween, A Perfect Circle, Led Zeppelin, Incubus, Radiohead, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Ambrosia, Blind Melon, Cake, Coldplay, David Bowie, Fleetwood Mac...again, I could go on and on...
FOOD: Buffalo Wings, Salad, Pad Thai, Cheese, Olives, Any Mexican Food, Any Italian Food, Shellfish, Cheesecake, Artichokes, Avocados, Almonds...
The six things I could never do without
2. My Parents

To those smart asses who fill this section out with things like water, shelter, and air...you are extremely clever and/or original and I wish to date you/have sex with you immediately.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
On a typical Friday night I am
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I get eye and nose infections about 2-3 times a year since I was 5 years old. It gets a little red and swollen and totally sucks.
My room is a mess about 70% of the time but I clean for company.
I'm bisexual.
I'm addicted to online quizzes and Facebook. Also, TED.com
Sometimes, when I'm alone....my friends make fun of me for this ALL THE TIME....ummm...
I like to log on to this free dating website. I guess I do it because the only way I meet people is either at work or if I'm in a show. Neither of those places are really good to meet dates.
You should message me if
You MUST have a sense of humor, you MUST have an open mind and you MUST be up for adventure (If you could expose me to new types of adventurous activities, that would be great...HEY! Get your mind out of the gutter!)
You need to be ok with the "sometimes" selection under drugs. I really only refer to pot. I do it about once a week, more or less. But I'm trying to cut down on that. And I have taken shrooms before on my annual trip to the sand dunes with my friends. But the last few years I haven't. But that's about it. I never take drugs to the point of inhibiting my own potential.
You also must live close by. Psychologists say that proximity is 80% of attraction. I'd be inclined to agree. Long distance relationships hardly ever work, especially when they start off that way. Sorry.
I'm mainly here to meet someone special. I have plenty of friends. But if you live close by and are just super compatible, I can add a few more to the friends list :-)
(P.S. I'm sorry if this sounds cocky/elitist. I'm just trying to be realistic in a world of virtual reality.)
