While I have had a year of good work and progress it's now time to think about the future. I'm always ready to try something new and filling in this profile is a first for me. Normally I'd be cautious telling people about myself as I don't like attention but if you don't tell then how will people know - that's my logic anyway. Hopefully you'll be curious. I'd describe myself as a steady, dependable person with an extra keen sense of humour (I mean take a look at my photos) which means I can see light in most things but know when it's not required too.. I suppose I am quite a romantic but not in a hopeless sense. I get pleasure from the simple things but can do complex too - generally happy to try new things in all matters. I want to have fun although it doesn't have to be every minute of the day as I'm realistic enough to know that we all need to live life and that unfortunately, means the everyday bits too. I've read a few profiles where I think some people may have been a bit over stated to make them sound more interesting or attractive - some seem to be on a non stop cultural and social whirl. Well if that's the case then well done but I'm still trying to get there - wherever there is of course! Thanks for reading and do send a message if you'd like to know more. I'll even believe myself.

Currently I'm working and have not really made time for me and for someone special. I want to change this and find someone with who we can make times special.

Making people laugh and caring for people. I usually sense how people are feeling and have a good knack of dispensing tissues and shoulders when needed. I'm generally well-organised and don't usually attract chaos but don't control and can do impulsive when least expected. A curious package - but I suppose nicely wrapped!

Possibly the eyes - which are brown.

Favourite book is the A to Z of London.. its' true. I do read a lot but a favourite other book I'm not sure as I'm in and out of styles and genres. I do like comedies and old black and white B films of the 50s and 60s - have recently developed a fad for gritty westerns but not sure what that's about - no stetson or saddle either. I'm very keen on music and i'm mainly into 60s and 70s rock and blues and pop - I can give a list if needed! Not overly keen (or more truthfully know much about) on today's styles or dance music - ah, now dancing - not really me but will have a go if encouraged correctly. Food is essentially anything and everything but one or two exceptions.

That's it's all going to come good and that out there somewhere is someone for me... it'll be worth waiting for is my belief.
Also I think a lot about getting on with life and not waiting for the right time.
