I am transient, tall, and the future.

My Self-Summary

My talent for writing dried up sometime in 2045, so this won't be too elaborate.

I move around a lot. By 'around' I mean 'to the other side of the the solar system' and by 'a lot' I guess I mean every twenty five minutes.

Generally I'm pretty quiet, but I can laugh, and I figure I've usually got enough confidence to get by. Sometimes I attempt to compensate for my imposing size by acting meek and small. Sometimes I overdo this.

My progress in my professional/academic life is often hindered by my ability to throw myself wildly into the extracurricular. Usually that means martial arts. Or at least something that will cause me massive injury.

In October of 2048 I set up camp on moon two of New Brittannia. (It's pretty much as bad as you've heard.) I don't spend too much time there, but it's somewhere to call base. All of it belongs to me and I'm making some changes, so I'm happy with it for now.

What I’m doing with my life

I've just started on a psy-web interface construction masters course at UC, which is another change of direction for me, but one I've actually given thought. One day maybe I'll have time to make some more martial arts movies. That's a dream, but it's nice to dream. If anyone has some particularly nice dreams to sell me drop me a line.

Canberra's a pretty quiet place. So apart from course work, umm... things are pretty quiet.
Now in French
Apparament ce truc veut que je reponds en francais aussi, mais franchement ca me lasse un peu d'inventer n'importe quoi juste pour satisfaire un ordi.
Now in Spanish
Que? Donde estan los caballeros? Que dices? No te preoccupes. Chingada!

I’m really good at

Being reasonable at lots of things with no real specialty.

Throwing people across rooms.

Recalling obscure facts about cartoons and comics.

The first things people usually notice about me

My height.
Now in French
Ma taille.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books:
Pretty much anything by Peter F Hamilton
Snow Crash - Neal Stephenson
Narcissus and Goldmund - Hermann Hesse

Movies:
Tom Yum Goong/Warrior King/The Protector. Deal with it.
The Last Samurai
Enter the Dragon

...and so on and so on...

Music:
Everything ever. As long as it's not too loud (Seriously, just turn the volume down). Particular fondness for video game remixes, epic soundtracks, and a select number of bands that I hesitate to admit to enjoying.

Food:
Sushi. Seriously. It's frikin awesome.

The six things I could never do without

1. Water

2. Food

3. Shelter

4. Clothes

5. The Sun

6. Errmm....

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Too many things. I need to think less apparently. "Do not think... feeeel." As it were.

On a typical Friday night I am

I am working. This is true for every night at the moment. And morning.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I... I read way too much manga. And not 'good' artsy manga either, strictly generic shonen for me. Dragonball, Naruto and Bleach.

As an extension of this disclosure I know nearly every page of Dragonball by heart. In French. Don't ask me why it's in French.

You should message me if

You are a little bit, but not clinically, insane. Also, if you're not a crazy racist, that's good too.

Also if you can think of anything that'll help pass the time while in Canberra, do let me know.
