My self-summary
I think it’s important to always find the positive aspects of any situation life throws at you. Cautiously optimistic is the best way to describe it.

I'm approaching this site with the same mindset.

That being said I think that I'm a pretty happy go lucky person. It takes a lot to anger me and I try to always carry a smile.
What I’m doing with my life
If I could describe my life in three words they would be "work in progress".
I’m really good at
I tend to notice strange and random things that people usually miss.

I also play trivia. A lot. I like free food and beer.
The first things people usually notice about me
My most distinctive traits are that I'm left handed and red headed.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I tend to read a lot of science fiction, sprinkled with obscure and entertaining non-fiction books. Think Mary Roach and Chuck Klosterman.

As far as TV goes I cut the cord a few years ago but that doesn't stop me from keeping up with the few shows I do watch. Netflix has been a great resource. Louie, Sherlock, Game of Thrones, Black Books, and Spaced are a few of the many shows I watch. Falling asleep to How Its Made is a hobby of mine.

I used to work at an art house theater as a projectionist so I've seen a wide range of movies and mostly like all genres. For a while I was watching movies based on composer. Did you know that the person who scored the soundtrack for Apollo 13, James Horner, also did the soundtrack for Krull and Braveheart? I didn't know either until a few months ago.

Music is a tricky subject. I worked in radio for six years and have been exposed to a ton of different music. Of course, I can't live without classic metal. I'm a huge fan of Maiden, Kiss, AC/DC, Sabbath (Dio and Ozzy), Judas Priest, and a lot of other bands from that era. The only music I really can't stand is contemporary country.
The six things I could never do without
-My cats.
-Thomas J. Glover's Pocket Ref. (Seriously, everyone should own this)
-Beer. I need one on most weekdays, more than one on most weekends.
-The internet. How else am I going to learn something new every day!?
-My trusty leatherman. Some day I'll have to pull a MacGyver.
-At least 10 minutes of silence a day. I just need time to reboot and take everything in.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I dont know, Cher, is there life after love?
On a typical Friday night I am
I'm not afraid to admit that I'm a fan of Drunk Bingo. If its not that I'm usually in the EAV causing a ruckus.
However, there are those few nights when I stay in and just play on the computer, read books, or just watch netflix until my eyes dry out and I go to sleep.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
When I was a kid I was deathly afraid of camping. Why? I was terrified of getting abducted by UFOs. I know, I know. I read a lot of Whitley Streiber when I was in middle school. Mix that with an overactive imagination and you've got trouble.
