Masters student, loving the 30s, into hiking/running/tennis, being physical/adventurous, riding my motorcycle through the canyons on a clear day, volunteering with cat rescues, active in the LA Couchsurfing scene/guiding visitors around this amazing city.

On one hand I'm incredibly square. I listen to light jazz, live a structured, drug-free lifestyle, and I sometimes buy clothes at Mervyns. On the other hand, I love stuff like Cinefamily, existentialism, other obscure subjects of the avant garde. I'm all over the place.

Art-wise, I prefer William Blake, Egon Schiele, observing human beings, Paul McCarthy and the pop-art of World of Wonder (RIP). I'm a big fan of modernism/minimalism when it comes to design/architecture/interiors, and I appreciate a well-planned, efficient space/structure.

Judging by my pics, I'm quite happy, I just look like I'm concentrating all the time instead of smiling. I guess I should have been a German philosopher or something.

having a clean house. Hygiene/cleanliness is important to me.

Finally finished Anna Karenin. Tagore. Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? Film-60's 70's avant garde, foreign, indie, docs, weird stuff. Did they make a Golden Girls film? Love Cinefamily and trashy films. Music-Listening to a lot of house, disco, new wave, Daft Punk, Air, Goldfrapp, Fischerspooner, old school hip-hop and R and B like Peabo, Luther and Silk. Food-Mostly vegetarian. I don't own a TV, not trying to be pretentious about it, but there are just too many commercials.

Continuing a meaningful, spiritual life in LA. Constantly searching for heartfelt, genuine, unique, like-minded souls.

Getting to bed early, doing laundry, working, studying. I'm in a very serious "work" phase of life, so a fun weekend evening to me probably involves some sort of volunteer/outreach work. Simply living in America is a party, compared to how most 3rd world nations have it, so I see no reason to hit the bars.

Looking for friends/whatever/anything that is fun/adventurous, if you want to nerd out with food/hiking/exploring/road trips, anything positive/meaningful/passionate.
