Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I spend a goodly portion of my time reading, which explains my
eclectic lexicon. When I am not immersing myself in the realms of
science fiction or fantasy I am generally reading technical texts,
psychological texts or anything from which I think I might learn
something interesting or practical.
When my eyes are not glued to a page they tend to adhere to
whatever screen I have placed in my immediate vicinity, whether
that be the computer monitor at home or the silver screen at the
nearby cinema. I don't really watch television anymore as I can
find most of the shows I wish to watch online ad-free... so my
television screen has been largely abandoned.
I am big into gaming of all kinds, be they card games, board games,
tabletop games or videogames. I keep out of the console war and
prefer to game on my PC via Steam, although I do own other systems
(excluding the current generation of consoles). I'm the president
of both the STEM and Gaming clubs at the college I attend and am
extremely active and passionate about both science and tabletop
rpg's; most recently pathfinder, but I do World of Darkness, All
Flesh Must Be Eaten, Shadowrunner, and many others.
Since owning a PC and being a gamer generally entails knowing how
to assemble and work them (or knowing someone who does) I am fairly
knowledgeable about electronics and computers and am skilled at DIY
electronics repair, ranging to everything from building a PC to
repairing and modifying Cellphones and other electronics.
I possess a passion for DIY culture of all kinds and I intend to
learn everything about automobile-repair and carpentry as well as
electrical, carpentry, and plumbing skills. I also enjoy learning
everything I can about biology, pharmaceuticals, surgery, medicine
and psychology. Basically if it exists I like to learn how it works
so that I can keep it working as long as possible or maybe improve
upon it. I also enjoy hiking, photography, and urban exploration. I
love being in capacious, formerly inhabited environments.
I could sit here and type an epic saga of all the things that I
enjoy and the things I am all about, but it would be more concise
simply to say that I generally enjoy anything or anyone I find to
be stimulating; whether of the intellectual, physical or sexual
variety. If you want to learn more, why aren't you messaging me?
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I am presently in a transitive phase and having found nothing
better to do with my time I have opted to use the time to try and
better myself; hopefully while having some fun in the process. At
present I hope to become a biomedical engineer and am going to
college in order to do so. Specifically I would like to design
and/or create artificial organs as I am big on transhumanism as
well as human self-improvement in the most literal sense of the
If that doesn't pan out I am looking at Engineering or Electronics
Engineering, or maybe something in Biology. I'm still finding out
who I am to become.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I am extremely good at tweaking existing systems to improve
efficiency or efficacy and/or using existing information in novel
ways to solve problems. I love to build new things and repair old
things as well.
I have also been told I am a good listener; in the respect that I
pay attention to what people are saying and try to understand their
ideas while acting as a sounding board to help them better
understand their ideas themselves. I like to let the conversation
flow naturally and you won't constantly find me trying to find any
foothold to dominate the conversation.
I simply enjoy learning about people; what they've done and why
they think they did it, what they intend to do and why they think
they will, I in addition to the inner workings of the human mind.
It's why I enjoy people-watching and candid photography so much...
I guess being neuroatypical has made me something of an amateur
aficionado of how humans work.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My intractable diffidence.
If they are fortunate or dedicated enough to compel me to speak,
they generally then notice my eclectic lexicon and my verbosity as
well as my logical, analytical nature.
If they manage to engage my attention long enough to amuse me they
may even note my sense of humor; heavily sarcastic but flirting
dangerously close to sardonic depending on my attitude.
This is of course assuming that they have not been rendered wholly
stupefied by my incandescent handsomeness, my blinding intellect
and my stunning wit; a woefully common occurrence which I regret
terribly. I try to keep it as rare as possible by exposing myself
to others only in small doses; so that they can build up a
tolerance over time.

I love books and reading; thus it follows that my Kindle is one of
the most revered of all my devices. I enjoy almost any type of
literature but am partial to Science Fact, Science Fiction,
Fantasy, Parody and Supernatural/Supernatural Romance.
Some of my favorites are as follows:
Anita Blake Vampire Hunter
The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy
Absolutely anything by Terry Pratchett.
The Big Bang Theory
I love anime and cartoons. If I had to choose a favorite for each
it would be Invader Zim and Trigun. Ghost in the Shell would be a
close contender though. I also enjoy BLEACH, Naruto,
Shaun of the Dead
28 Days/Months Later
The entire "of the dead" series
The list could go on forever :)
Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog
The Elder Scrolls
Left 4 Dead 1&2
The Last of Us
DayZ(It would be shorter to simply say "All Survival Horror
XCOM: Enemy Unknown
Magic the Gathering
Poker I guess.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. My Kindle, My PC, My Xbox 360, PS3... the entirety of my media
2. Functioning High Speed Internet connection
3. Steam. (The program, not the water vapor)
4. Steam (The Water vapor)
5. My projects.
6. My friendships and relationships.
Not in order, obviously.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
So many topics to consider. I am oft apt to dwell on esoteric
subjects in which I am interested; usually these are short
infatuations in which I become slightly obsessed about the subject
and gather all the information I can about it before becoming bored
or distracted and ultimately moving on to something novel; My mind
is as capricious as it is rapacious.
I also love to make up scenarios involving zombies. I love
everything about them. I love zombies so much that the creeper from
FIDO seems well-adjusted by comparison.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
My friday nights could hardly ever be called "typical" unless you
lead a very strange life.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

I am willing to admit nothing and you certainly can't prove
I am an ethical non monogamist seems like a fairly big one
considering where I live though.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You like books, videogames, card games or board games and could use
a cute, witty guy to play them with you.
Likewise for outdoors stuff like hiking or kayaking.
You enjoy open, honest and intelligent conversations.
Your okay with consensual, responsible non-monogomy.
For any other reason that you think you might desire to...
Of course out of deference to your own judgement I would say that
you ought to make that decision for yourself... after all, if after
reading all of the previous text you still feel the need for some
more convincing, what hope is there that this final parting
paragraph will possess the power to persuade you?
