My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I like things, and also some stuff. I will probably message you with a clever comment referring to a line in your profile. You will read this, perhaps you will chuckle, and ultimately decide it doesn't really warrant a response. I'm fine with this. You have your part to play, I have mine. Let the dance begin.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Trying to find my place in the world. Doing a little reading, doing a little writing, working customer service jobs. Thinking a lot. Trying to be the person I want to be. if that all sounds vague, well, that's my life. It's a little bit of waking up and saying "What am I going to do today?"
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
trivia games. I have an impressive command of useless trivia. Ask me about cheetahs sometime. Or owls. Owls are neato. Or octopuses!

Animals are neat.
The first things people usually notice about me

Based on the number of comments I get about it, my hair. I have a good amount of silver for a 28 year old guy, with a very visible streak of silver right in the front.

I really hate these "Make a list of stuff you like" things. The general idea is:

Books: I'm trying to read more. I loved reading as a kid and then I grew away from it as I got older. I'm trying to get back to the classics now. I'm currently reading Ernest Hemingway, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Dickens, that kind of stuff but I'm open to anything good. Trying to steer away from the sci fi and fantasy though. If you have recommendations, send them my way.

Movies: All kinds of stuff, but especially dark comedy. I also like the slow, artsy kind of stuff, to a degree. Gus Van Sant is about as far as I go with that.

Shows: I try not to watch too much tv. I like cooking competition shows like Top Chef and Chopped, and Hells Kitchen when I want a taste of schadenfreude. I watch cartoons too, Adventure Time, Regular Show, American Dad, that kind of stuff. And of course the big names everyone knows, Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, etc.

Music: I'm really into kind of trippy stuff, trip hop, experimental rock, that kind of stuff. I like hip hop a lot, a fair amount of indie music, and I like my share of death metal too. I sample a little bit from pretty much everything, though country is probably the genre I enjoy the least.

Food: I'm a pretty simple guy when it comes to food. I'm a picky eater, so be forewarned, if that's a dealbreaker for you, now you know. Lot of meat and potatoes, hamburgers, pizza, that kind of stuff. Protein shakes are my best friend too. Oh, and pickles. I fuckin' love pickles.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Music.
2. My friends
3. An internet connection
4. My family
5. Reddit
6. My guitar
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What the "next thing" is gonna be. Where do I go from here? I also think a lot about philosophy, Buddhism, and a lot of silly "what ifs" like "What if The Library of Alexandria had never burned" or "What if they made pizza Pop Tarts."
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Hanging out with my friends, or at a show.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

I really like Panic! at the Disco's first album. It's my guilty pleasure.
