My self-summary
ENTP
I don't think anyone can encapsulate themselves in a paragraph. I am a cognitive portmanteau of my wants and my values, constantly reconfiguring myself based on my experiences. I can be a perfectionist. I daydream. I try to recreate that childlike freshness in everything around me. I live for the chill that runs down my spine when I experience something of true beauty. Or, better yet, when I'm the one to create the thing.
Dating the very lovely w1ndswept, who I actually met on here- however, we're always looking to meet new people~
What I’m doing with my life
Former art student, currently enlisted in the U.S. Navy as a
Nuclear Electronics Technician, then finishing my education and
leaving a mark on this world. Missing the ability to express
myself through my work, and hoping to find an even grounds with my varying experience.

Tampa, FL I still consider my hometown, despite the consistent
changes in where I lay my head at night. I was stationed in
Charleston, SC for 2 years. Before that, it was Chicago for a hot
minute. After Charleston came a year in New York, followed by a few months in Seattle. I've seen the better part of the East coast, and a portion of the West. I've had all the local dishes and guided my way amongst the culture of each place I've been. I've tasted the air and felt the soil.
For now, though, I'm here.
I'm into life- being on the proverbial cusp of something new,
always. I want to inundate myself with the cultures and experiences around me. My job can be very overbearing when it comes to that, but it's a means to an end, and doesn't stop me from holding on to my weekends. In other regards- I'm consistently reading and writing. Drawing, and designing. I have a notebook full of ideas;
some small, others pretty big.
I’m really good at
Love to cook, write, sketch, and various other creative pastimes. Avid daydreamer/ inventor, I always have an idea of how to improve the lives of people around me.
The first things people usually notice about me
My grandpa chic sense of style, lots of blazers and ties.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
This list has the potential of getting really exacerbated. I'll be frank, but this barely touches it.

Books: Any of your classics (old and modern day). Philosophy, postmodern poetry, gonzo journalism, future economics, research journals, and various niches of fantasy and Science fiction. Right now I'm on a hard science fiction kick, with the likes of Gibson, Watts, Doctorow, Sterling, Baxter, etc.

Movies: too much to begin.

Music: this is going to be super truncated - Zappa said something to the effect of "Talking about music is like dancing about architecture." Frankly, though, My taste is so varied and eclectic that I couldn't justify any name drops. This ranges from Shoegazer to Triphop; from experimental to undefinable.

Food: I'm a huge foodie. I will eat anything, practically. Recently, I've been getting into molecular gastronomy (both the practice and the consumption).

Life is art. I feel that everything around me should be an extension of this methodology. I will do anything once. Live for the bleeding edge, the unbeaten cultural runs, and affect upon it as you deem necessary. Action, itself, is constant exploration.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Statistics, Thermodynamics, Neuroscience, Life, Nanoscience, History, Postmodernism, Perception, Noble savages, Being, Humility, Humour, Singing, Beaches, Camping, Hiking, Concerts, Graffiti, Wavelength (color and other), Lucid Dreaming, Guerrilla gardening, the Fibonacci number, Rail Guns, Anti-art, Science, Music Production, Fractals, Scientific method, Consequentialism, Gene splicing, Business theory, Supernovas, Black Holes, Peanut butter. Whale rescue!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Both my parents passed away recently and it's been a struggle to cope.
I’m looking for
  • Everybody
  • Ages 18–99
  • Near me
  • For new friends
You should message me if
If you're willing to break the homogeny of everyday life.
If you know of any charity work/volunteering that I can get involved in.
If you're bored, looking for an adventure or just a good conversation.

For a minute, forget this is a dating site. Forget the attenuation and nuances that comes along with something like this. Forget the social dioramas and figurative ennuendos, the sophomoric attempts at securing an impression. Think of this as one human being reaching out to another. For those living life to it's fullest, show me how to do that in this new environ. For those wanting to, explore with me.
