Well...I'm attractive, successful career in finance, never had a problem meeting women. In my work and past relationships, I've always been the dominant person. But I have a secret interest I've always wanted to try. I've always been fascinated by the idea of hypnosis, and would love to be hypnotized to see what it's like. I'd be interested in meeting a girl here who'd like to practice. Does that sound too freaky? Read on -- I promise I'm "normal" in real life.

I have a "normal" dating history of a lot of cute women in the past, but never mentioned this fantasy to any of them. It's not a easy thing to ask someone. I totally have the balls to walk up to a girl at a club and ask for her phone number; but it's a much different thing to say, "so, do you know much about hypnosis? want to try it with each other?". So, I wanted to test out the internet to see if there was a match. Let's trade a couple emails, and then if you're interested in this too, maybe we'll meet for coffee or drinks -- at the very least we'll get an hour or so of enjoyable conversation talking about a secret we don't usually get to share with anyone we know "in real life", and if we both enjoy each other's company, maybe we'll meet again -- maybe as friends, or drinking buddies, or lab partners for a hypnosis experiment, or something else, who knows.

Not interested in pain, humiliation, bondage, etc; so if that's what you're into, we're probably not a match.

Regardless of what I said above, I swear I'm actually "normal"! I'm a little bit of a workaholic (though I guess everybody in finance is) but I love what I do most of the time, so it's OK. At the office I'm a relatively senior guy, and I can't imagine what everyone I work with would think if they ever saw this post.

Have lived in a bunch of places for my job -- both east & west coast in the US, plus a stint in London and a few others. Back in NY now and have established a social life here that I'm happy with.

This question really means "you didn't post a face picture, so are you attractive or not?", right? Well, yes, I am. You'll just have to trust me on that for now, though. :-)

Read that first paragraph again. :-) I've never mentioned that one to ANYONE -- not my closet friends, not the girls I've dated in the past, not anybody. Isn't the anonymity of the internet great?
