I am a Jew raised in a Mormon town, the ensuing identity crisis
lasted until I moved to Los Angeles some dozen years later. I came
out for grad school, and stayed for the traffic. Actually, I am one
of the few that proudly say-- I love LA. The egocentric
image-obsessed smog laden streets smelling of tourist B.O. and bum
piss call out to me. Yep, this is my kinda town.
I like film. A lot. I've stopped being a fanatic I would say, but
I'd argue I can out-quote you. (This was NOT bragging, but rather
an admission.) I like sketch comedy a lot as well, and am
fascinated with cable shows about how random shit is made. Not so
much 'shit' per se, other stuff mostly.
My only roommate is my giant dog, who sleeps in about 4 hours later
than me. She doesn't do dishes or pay rent. I think she plans to
get by on looks her whole life. So far so good.

What I'm doing with my life
I work a lot, but whenever I want. I like walking to the park with
my dog. It isn't a very large park and I begin to wonder what the
point actually is. But she certainly seems to enjoy it. There are a
lot of old people at this park. They look very grouchy. I'd like to
not be grouchy when I am old. I am getting ahead of myself.

I like most music, primarily oldies, [old]punk, some 80's, Jane's Addiction, Beastie Boys, Black Crows, Beck, Simon & Garfunkel, Nirvana, random shit on Indie, various theme music (that however, may just be in my head.)
I love food. Are there people who don't love food? That would be sad. I feel bad for said hypothetical people. I like to cook. And I like to go out to new and favorite restaurants alike. I also like eating over the sink. Anywhere really, just not in the bathroom-- thats wrong and upsetting.
