My self-summary
Gosh wait give me more time I hate this!
What I’m doing with my life
working on my masters program, computer science. I'm primarily involved with the department of software engeneering aiming at automatizing software verification.
I’m really good at
I have quite a decent musical relative hearing.
Also not too bad of a cook, but my repertoire is limited to vegetarian cuisine.
The first things people usually notice about me
-I sometimes invade strangers intimate space
-I take twice the amount of time to accomplish a task than common people.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
i dont want to talk about it ^^
Tim Burton movies (especially Corpse Bride)
X-Men and other marvel-comic-based movies

not too big of a fan of tarantino, but inglorious bastards is great.
hm.. right now nothing else comes to mind...
tv series
Dr. who, house, big bang theory, south park, Game of Thrones
Currently I am enamoured by Karnivool, sound awake is simply marvellous. I'm dying to see them this summer, maybe on south-side.

When I listen to music, it usually requires my full attention.
I do like Progressive-metal and -rock, jazz, baroque, roots-reggae, soul, ska, punk ... anything, but i have to listen repeatedly and carefully to it.
The music has to have some degree of complexity, in a broad sense, which could mean just the lyrics are complex, but usually i enjoy great sound of passionate instrumentalists.
Generally the Song ist good, the more often I can listen to it in a row, still discovering new nuances.

For example the complexity of a Bob Marley Song is a million times higher than most of what is being sold as reggae/dancehall today. Details and nuances are the important factor, as they have a lot more potential to increase complexity, there is no need for a change of meter or chord every other bar at all. I have hardly ever heard any band able to resemble the sound of Bob Marley and the wailers, it takes a lot of practize to do so. Any five year old child on the other hand can do, what I hear in a disco when they put on dancehall.

So I do not share the opinion, that music is just a sole matter of taste. If there is just a simple electronical beat it does not at all inspire me to dance. Most people that find house/techno etc is music suitable for dancing and merely listen to music in a social context in my experience are musically illiterate and I do not enjoy talking bout music with them a lot.

Theres few things that beat really good food shared with a few friends or a nice girl.

Heres some food i really like that i am likely to make on occasion:
kidney-bean-corn-onion based salads
bakes of all kind
plain pasta with tomato sauce (packet sauce = NO-NO)

I am a vegetarian rather for ethical/economical than health or taste related reason, so unfortunately I cannot judge non-vegetarian food.
The six things I could never do without
-the Internet
-epic tasks
-a sharp knife
I spend a lot of time thinking about
ostensibly insignificant and unimportant details of designs of software, mathematical proofs, food, or other things i care about.
On a typical Friday night I am
either working, having a night out, or just hanging around.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Just ask anything.
