My self-summary
I use the moniker IATAO online because "I'll Always Try Anything Once" - though I'll often try twice, just to see if I didn't miss something the first time. I have beeve in the BDSM/Kink community for over 15 years, and both attend and host several events. For details, posts and pictures you can find me at FetLife.com. A friend thought it was useful to have a profile on OKC too.

Life is not all play, but I always say life is what you make it so let's make it fun!   I'm happily married with two wonderful children. For various reasons, my wife (who I met the kink through the community) is no longer able to play and isn't an active part of the kink community anymore, but she is knowledgeable and supportive of me being active and will sometimes help host parties with me or tag along to vanilla events with kinksters.
What I’m doing with my life
Living it with zest and vigor while keeping balanced between my family and my friends in the kink community when not having to work.
The first things people usually notice about me
That being around good people makes me happy, so im usually bubbly and wearing a smile. :-)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I'm an eclectic omnivore when it comes to the arts.
Music: From Vivaldi to Ravi Shankar, the Beatles to Green Day, Louis Armstrong to Parliment Funkadelic, Grand Master Flash to Eminem, Kenny Rogers to Mumford & Sons, and Simon & Garfunkel to Ed Sheeran.
Books: From The Epic of Gilgamesh to The Illiad, La Morte de Arthur to Don Quixote, Tolkien to David Eddings, Issac Assimov to Anne McCaffrey, and so many others.
Movies/Shows: From The Sound of Music to Moulin Rouge, Dr. Who to Red Dwarf, Star Trek to Farscape, Lillies of the Field to 0 Dark 30, and SCTV to The Chapelle Show.
On a typical Friday night I am
The same thing I do Saturday nights, hosting or going to Kink/BDSM or poly events.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I've already admitted a ton of private things. I guess maybe that I lost my virginity at 20 after watching Exit to Eden on VHS in 1996 after my partner invited me into the shower with her.
