I live in a fairly rural area, and so I find I must stretch myself out of my comfort zone to meet people, so here I am.
In addition to doing writing and graphic design, bookwriting, photography and pretty much everything in between, I always enjoy getting out and exploring new places and my hiking backpack is always ready to grab. I excel at what I do and am seeking an equally-ambitious person who knows when to chill at the right times. Oh, I also enjoy cooking, AND I am financially stable and debt-free! I consider myself fun-loving and always looking to learn things and improve myself.
I also have all 32 of my teeth. And all my hair. Never married, no kids, no baggage, did I mention stable, all that good stuff.
And, I am totally open to relocation. As for you, be open - reach outside your box a little bit, too. The match for which you're seeking may be 60 miles away and not 5 miles down the road or in the same neighborhood. Who knows? It might just be me? I'd love to find out!
I have been involved in music ministry at church (keyboardist mostly, though I can't wait to break out the drums for a jam session), I also headed up the youth ministry program for almost 2 years, and I also sponsor two children through Compassion International. It is a total blessing to receive letters from - and to encourage them with letters and pictures. My faith is important to me but I don't push it on others.
Here's what one of the kids I know told me to tell you:
"(Iamthecameraman) is like my second dad ((: i can talk to him about anything even when i don't feel comfortable talking to my parents, he's super fun to hang out with,, && has never let me down, he listens, and offers help when i am not sure what to do."
Here is what another (now former) OKCupid user and real-life friend has to say about me:
"CameraMan is a great friend. He is loyal to his friends, and always ready to listen when someone has something to say. Fun things to do while hanging out with him: explore the area you're in, get camera happy, drink hot chocolate, all of the above. There is always great conversation, great listening, and great photography involved in a day with TheCameraMan!"
Someone posted this on my photo site pertaining to the December 25, 2013 photo of me and my sisters: "Three very attractive and special people." That made me feel, well, special :)
February 9, 2014: My supervisor told me to tell my prospective matches that I am "kind, sensitive (empathetic) and intelligent." So, there you are.
Pastor Matt passes this along for me to tell you:
"Reliable, intentional man who will be faithful and devoted- will provide well and love his wife all her days- a rare find that some lucky woman will discover- quiet, silent type, but good with words when he chooses to use them- well known and liked by every body in community- smiles often!"
October 2013: I received this note of endorsement from a teacher in the community in which I live: "your name was the topic of the teacher's discussion the other day. We all agreed that you have been such a fantastic supporter of (the school's name redacted). You are very respected in this community and every time I read a (Facebook) post of yours, it's always the "voice of reason". Whether it's about building the new school or teacher/kid bashing, you always seem to say the right thing. We all decided you are the perfect (poster - noun identifying me redacted)... sticks to the true facts without offending anyone. Thank you for this. It doesn't go unnoticed by any of us!"
